Genius idea- could be better quality

This zipline is the best concept ever. Our doggy used to get tangled in the seatbelt tethers because she loves to move around the back seat. The zipline kept her safe and secure but with total freedom to move from window to window. However, the nylon strap does not really tighten at all. We had to get pretty creative with some crazy knots in order to stop it from loosening on its own. Also, recently our dog tried to run out the car before we unharnessed her, and she wound up pulling so hard that she bent the hook that attaches to the car. It no longer hooks on correctly and we have to replace the whole thing. … more

If you DONT care about your dog, get this!

By Nelson on Nov 6, 2020

Let me be clear that this was one of the items I was looking forward to getting from my many orders from Chewy. Well I was wrong and let down again by Chewy. I am starting to noticed that I should just stick to JUST ordering food cause everything else is cheaply made, breaks easily or not what you expect Let me be clear that this was one of the items I was looking forward to getting from my many orders from Chewy. Well I was wrong and let down again by Chewy. I am starting to noticed that I should just stick to JUST ordering food cause everything else is cheaply made, breaks easily or not what you expect. Needless to say, I used this zipline TWICE! I decided to go for a ride and strapped it up, as I was ready to get my +50lbs puppy I notice that the stitching is all coming out and the material ripping. If I didn't noticed or could care less about my pet, he coulda easily gone out the window mid ride. Not for nothing chewy, but I've been more disappointed than happy in product that I pay a lot of money for. Especially in these crazy times where you want convenience of purchases showing up at your door; you make me want to go through the hassle of walking into a store front. … more

    not great quality

    By on

It’s a simple concept and will probably work fine. I did not like that the hooks seemed like poor quality and the line wouldn’t stay tight. In the event of an accident or frequent use, I don’t know they’ll hold up. And it defeats the purpose to let your dog pull it loose too easily. Make sure you have a good place to hook to. Handles like those in the picture are definitely best.

    Broke when installing

    By on

The hooks that attach to the car handles broke.... it was sagging and I wanted it to be tight and secured. I started tightening and it broke right off. There was no way to fix it.

    Not for large dogs

I wouldn't recommend for larger, or hyperactive dogs. It did not provide nearly enough support for my dog. He could stretch it out enough to reach father than I wanted him to, and came off the latches very easily.
