If you DONT care about your dog, get this!

By Nelson on Nov 6, 2020

Let me be clear that this was one of the items I was looking forward to getting from my many orders from Chewy. Well I was wrong and let down again by Chewy. I am starting to noticed that I should just stick to JUST ordering food cause everything else is cheaply made, breaks easily or not what you expect Let me be clear that this was one of the items I was looking forward to getting from my many orders from Chewy. Well I was wrong and let down again by Chewy. I am starting to noticed that I should just stick to JUST ordering food cause everything else is cheaply made, breaks easily or not what you expect. Needless to say, I used this zipline TWICE! I decided to go for a ride and strapped it up, as I was ready to get my +50lbs puppy I notice that the stitching is all coming out and the material ripping. If I didn't noticed or could care less about my pet, he coulda easily gone out the window mid ride. Not for nothing chewy, but I've been more disappointed than happy in product that I pay a lot of money for. Especially in these crazy times where you want convenience of purchases showing up at your door; you make me want to go through the hassle of walking into a store front. … more

    Great Product

As I mentioned in my review of the seat belt tether ,the tether limits her movements and tangles easily.....but tether Is perfect for front sear times...the zip line is a blast for her and she really enjoys the freedom of movement....I think its a quality product and didn’t understand some of the negative reviews,,,I would recommend either product....u just need right tool for the right job...

    Good choice for long trips

I got this zipline because my dog was previously using a seat belt strap that went on her harness and clipped into the seat belt of the car. She likes to look out the window and walk back and forth in the back seat, so she would get her legs all twisted up and would get stuck in an uncomfortable position. We have a 12 hour car ride coming up this summer and I love that this goes above her head and connects to her harness so there’s no more twisting around her legs. She can walk back and forth around the back seat and stay comfortable. This was especially great after she got spayed. We didn’t have to worry about the seat belt rubbing against her stitches because it goes over her head. Kept my baby safe!

The zip line worked great. My baby could look out the window and roam the back seat. She did great on her first long-distance trip.

Not perfect, but it's the perfect compromise.

We had tried other more traditional seat belts (ones that click into the female-buckles in your car) and were not huge fans because 1. the dogs would get their legs wrapped around them and 2. we usually like the put our seats down when they dogs are in the back and 3. one of our dogs always managed to unbuckle himself. The zip-line belt is amazing. So so easy to set up and buckle them in. The dogs never tangle themselves in weird positions, and it doesn't matter if seats are up or down. They only thing I am not a huge fan of how strong it may be considering the belt connects to the "oh-crap handles" and that the belt does nothing if we were in a side impact. Works as Intended

I hooked each end of the line on the back seat headrest bars versus the handles. It keeps it lower and more hidden. Attached the tether to my dogs harness. Gives him freedom in the back seat while keeping him from crawling into the front. He did chew on the tether but only once. If you have a heavy chewer, it could be a problem.

This item appears to work fine, however my overall experience with Chewy.com has been abysmal.

    Worked great for my dogs!

    By on

I loved it for my car, but when I tried it in my friends car my dog could still get up front. Honestly it just depends on your cars size. But my dog also is trained to not get in the front seat but she’s allowed to stand in between the two front seats. Overall great product, but if you’re dog is determined to get in the front and you have a small car it might not be the best option.

Security & safety without too much restriction

    By on

Easy to install and adds security without too much restriction. The tether it came with was too short. I added two carabiners and 2 three foot leashes to the zip line for my bulldogs to move around and lay down in the back of my SUV.
