Sturdy, well made ramp
This is a nice, not too long ramp that we use for our Corgi to go down our front porch steps. It has a nice, grippy surface and no open seams so that it holds up well in wet weather. Very handy and a good product.
Better than expected - bought small ramp
My poodle puppy learned to use this in less that half hour. At first I placed it over the doorsill to the back yard. After 10 minutes he was going in and out the door on it. Then I moved it to the couch (under the cushions) so he could join me. He did bringing his toys with him. Going down was more scary but he accomplished that too. The texture makes a great scratch surface to keep his nails short. Who knew? Ha
Extendable Ramp for My dog
The length and width were perfect for my shelties who weights about 40-45 lbs, but the surface was horrible . It was like very ruff sand paper and the fur from his paws was pulled off when he tried to go up. This was not a good start to train him to use the ramp. I put a heavy towel on the ramp and that seemed to do the trick. No the towel does not slip because the surface of the ramp is so coarse.
The ramp is very nice, and we have no complaint about it. Our dog is just too chicken to use it.
Unfortunately this ramp did not fit my SUV ,I have a Ford Explorer and couldn’t get it to so that it wouldn’t wobble. It seemed very well made .
I purchased this ramp to prevent my 70+ pound dog from having to jump in and out of my SUV post leg-surgery. I have continued to use it after his recovery to prevent wear and tear on his joints and ligaments. It slides into itself for storage in the back of my vehicle and I can lift it with one hand. It is extremely sturdy and Tucker felt comfortable and confident using it from the start.
Sturdy and secure
I got this ramp for my senior dog and trained him on the couch in our home. He likes it and now we are going to be keeping it out for him to use! He was easy to train and doesn’t slip on it at all. It feels very stable and secure when he’s on it. Also it’s pretty light and easy to transport from home to car. I’m very happy with this purchase! Also it gives me peace of mind because In know he won’t hurt himself while I’m away trying to jump on and off the couch.
Nice but not for me
This ramp is well made. However, it is heavy and rather large to maneuver around. It was also a little difficult for me to slide it open but I'm a small woman. I bought this because I have a bad back and it was getting hard on me to pick up my sweet but stubborn Standard Poodle that weighs 60 lbs. Also my car door didn't open wide enough to place this ramp to the back seat. It did work for the hatch but would be way too much trouble to lower back seats every time etc.
Getting acquainted with it
Still in process of getting to walk on it but will work good when that is accomplished.
Not big enough for a bear
I like the construction and ease of use. The ramp weighs less than a bag of groceries. The length is sufficient. However, the width of the ramp is too narrow for my Bovier de Flandes appropriately named "Bear". Perhaps an extra-wide ramp needs to be manufactured.
