The aluminum rails on the ramp are pre-lubricated with household paraffin wax. Some of this wax may flake off after repeated use of the ramp. Re-application of this wax should not be necessary under normal use. If the plastic or aluminum parts of the Pet Ramp become dirty, simply clean with any standard household cleaner. The tread material can be cleaned with mild detergent and a stiff brush, or a strong jet of water. The Ramp should be maintenance-free.

Just great...
By quintanaroo on Feb 15, 2021
My corgi mix has IVDD and we have a 4 step staircase from the back door to the yard. I chose this ramp because it telescopes to any length in its range and because it was the longest ramp I could find, making the pitch easier on my pup. I put it on one side over the stairs and Maggie took to it right away. I coaxed her with treats the first few times but she quickly preferred the ramp to the steps. I like that I can take it up easiely when I know it's going to snow or when we need the space on the staircase. It's not hard to handle, even for me (little old lady). Maggie has had no problem with traction on the surface, or with paw damage. Very disappointed
By Dogmom on Feb 19, 2021
I followed the instructions and got my dog familiar with the ramp on the flat ground with rewards of treats. She did fine. I put it on my 3 stair entrance to my house (not steep at all). She walked on willingly, her paws slipped sideways, she couldn't get the grip to walk up and fell off sideways. We did this several times and needless to say she won't go near it now. The surface is way too smooth. A big waste of money and no ramp!

Kaliah’s ramp
By Rottielife on Mar 5, 2021
Bought this ramp because I recently found out that 1 of my girls has a torn ligament in her back right leg. I have a lifted Jeep and even though I have 2 big dogs, it’s still difficult sometimes. I had previously ordered steps and they were good but my one Rottie was a little scared of them. I bought this ramp and both of them took to it right away!!

Perfect for my arthritic dog
By Dmar on Feb 17, 2021
I had originally bought a cheaper ramp from a different website but it had no traction and simply didn't work. This is perfect. It's very easy to move around and has great traction. I keep it out front so my dog doesn't have to take the steps to the front door then move it to my SUV whenever we have trips to the vet (which is often lately since she's started the twice a week shots for a four weeks to help with the arthritis).

Seems to do the job
By Annie217 on Jan 23, 2021
I have a dog (age 12) with disc disease who isn't supposed to walk on stairs or jump in and out of my compact SUV. I bought the large size because it's longer and can be used on my indoor stairways, though I'm not happy about its being so wide. As a result, it's too wide to use for entry into the car's back seat and must be used for entry into the trunk area. Yes, it's heavy and awkward, but the heaviness gives it stability. The sandpaper-like surface doesn't really give much grip. The dog's personality will determine how easy it is to train him to use the ramp. My old dog did some agility in his youth, so the ramp was not completely new. Also, he's very food oriented and loves to train. My back says...Thanks Chewy!
By SnackPockets on Feb 6, 2021
The ramp has helped my Ol' Golden gain her independence back! I would recommend the Extra-Large model as it is wider and longer, which means the degree of angle is more manageable for the poochies. These are well built and the anti-slip surface covering is a nice addition! If Remmy could talk, I know that she would say that the ramp is definitely helped "Make America Great Again" for her!

Thank you a lifesaver
By Phil on Feb 23, 2021
My dobermsm recently got diagnosed with Osteosarcoma(bone cancer) and will have his front leg amputated do I needed a solution to get him in and out of my semi truck. This ramp is awesome. He learned to use it in a few days and its compact enough to store in the compartment under my truck.

Great solution for large, senior dog.
By Pamela on Jan 28, 2021
We recently rescued a 10 year old German Shepherd who weighs over 100 pounds. Since we own 2 large SUV’s, we needed a solution to get him in and out of the vehicles. We bought a ramp from Weathertech (great quality) but it was narrow and still very steep, due to the length. This one is much longer and wider. Works great. He goes right up and down with no issues. Yes, it is heavier but much more functional for us. The rough surface is not an issue.

Just what we needed
By Gina on Jan 13, 2021
Our German Shepherd was having trouble jumping in the truck. This ramp took a little time for him to use but once he wasn’t afraid to try it has been good for him. It works for getting in the back seat or on the back of the truck bed. If you have a really tall truck you might want to get a slightly longer ramp as this one would be pretty steep. Easy to slide to compact and fits between the seats or behind seat to take along for the ride, plus it is very light weight

Serves Its Purpose
By LabLover on Jan 12, 2021
Have had the ramp for about a month. My new SUV is higher than my Lab will jump safely, so I needed the ramp rather than pick her up each time. Also did not want her hurting a leg by jumping down over two feet repeatedly. She still takes a little coaxing to go up the ramp, but once she starts, she just runs up into her kennel. I hope the reluctance will fade with a little more time. I think an indoor/outdoor carpet would be better than the course sandpaper surface!
