Great for Shy Young Dogs and Old Ones with Joint Problems
By BoomersDad on Apr 12, 2021
I'm very pleased with the ramp. It is easy to open and slide into place. The traction makes it safe for dogs who aren't sure about it. Easy to store on edge in the back of my Outback. For the price, it can't be beat, iMO.

Needs improvement
By Me00 on Apr 12, 2021
Needs improvement. A little wobbly for my 90 pound black lab. Needs improvement needs rubber strips as he slides down it. I think I will keep it and try to get some rubber strips and see if that works.

Best I Have Found
By Kelly on Apr 11, 2021
This is the third ramp I have purchased for my aging Golden Retriever. I bought the extra long and it is much better than any I have previously used. It is very easy to use and the side handle is convenient. My one negative comment is that there is not a way to stop and secure the ramp mid-way extended, which would be nice. We have not had an issue with traction.

Excellent purchase

Glad I purchased, would do so again. Used for a 90lb GSD and 50lb mix. It was very easy to teach them to use it as it is very sturdy.

Sturdy and Long
By HuntingWithHounds on Apr 2, 2021
Great ramp. The ramp is sufficiently wide, sturdy, can be extended to be quite long, has a snap to keep it closed, has a handle on the side for easy in/out of the vehicle and transport, and is durable. The finish on top is like a fine sandpaper so it doesn't hurt the dog's foot pads. My dogs are about 50-60 pounds each and it doesn't bend or bow.

Our two dogs are getting up there and are having trouble jumping into the car or up on our bed, when allowed. For in the house, I have no product advice since I built a ramp for our bed. They've learned how to use it and do, when they're not excited. When they are excited, we have two super dogs! Jumping on or off without thinking. When they do think, the ramp is used. I hope as they get more used to the ramp, it'll get even more use. However, for the car, building one that's small and portable yet strong and safe enough was not a viable option. However, for the car, building one that's small and portable yet strong and safe enough was not a viable option. I did some shopping and read lots of reviews and settled on this one. I got it just in time for our Bernese Mountain Dog (Belle) to use it to get to the vet for some minor surgery. It worked like a charm. She tried it out at home a few days before and was hesitant but cooperative. Surgery day, she was better and it worked fine for me, alone, holding her on a leash while I got the ramp ready for use and put away, with her waiting in or out of the car. I have an SUV so the back door was the entry point of choice. This ramp is telescoping and sturdy. Wide and strong. I won't give the specs since they are in the product description. It's not perfect. It's a bit heavy at 18lbs. The telescoping action is not great. That's actually good though, makes it less likely to slip while in use. I try to make sure it's fully extended even though it can be used partly extended, because the longer it is, the shallower the angle for Belle. Some reviews mentioned the “sand paper” surface is hard on their dog’s paws. No more so than a concrete sidewalk! Some complained it got scratched up right away. Yes, it does. So what? Dogs have nails and they scrape the surface and make marks. Not an issue for me. It’s not slippery, that’s what’s important. Some complained that the ramp closed while the dog was on it and they got hurt. Really? How could that happen unless you’re not attending to your dog? Some said their dog fell off. I would NEVER let my dog go up or down without my holding the leash connected to their harness. In fact, I hold the harness for maximum control and help, if needed. In short, I am very satisfied and recommend this ramp for our giants. Note this review is for the X-Large (68755) ramp. … more

Great product
By Dixie on Mar 20, 2021
Was going to build a ramp for our 13 year old golden doodle to get up and down back stairs. This ramp fits the bill perfectly. Ordered on Saturday and arrived on Sunday !!!!!! It took her one day to get used to it. She hated it at first. Now it’s a non issue. MUCH better than her using the 2 steps on our back deck.

We love this ramp!
By DogMom on Mar 18, 2021
Our dog was having trouble climbing stairs. We decided on this ramp due to the telescoping feature & the 20 inch width. Harley took to it immediately. The high-traction walking surface did not bother him at all. Very easy to use & store. We're very happy with our purchase and so is Harley!
