The aluminum rails on the ramp are pre-lubricated with household paraffin wax. Some of this wax may flake off after repeated use of the ramp. Re-application of this wax should not be necessary under normal use. If the plastic or aluminum parts of the Pet Ramp become dirty, simply clean with any standard household cleaner. The tread material can be cleaned with mild detergent and a stiff brush, or a strong jet of water. The Ramp should be maintenance-free.

Best ramp for Ollie
By Ollie on Nov 12, 2019
I spent time on the phone with an excellent Chewy associate who was very patient and helpful. We decided this would be a good ramp for me & Ollie. It is all the things it says it is, lightweight for the human, heavy enough for a 67lb. dog and more, easy to store. Nothing to put together it comes as is. So easy for me to use and Ollie loves it.

Well constructed
By Qiwi on Oct 6, 2019
This ramp is well make. It could be an idea ramp for most people. Mechanism works well and track pad provides excellent grip without harsh abrasion to pads. I researched over 25 ramps, tried several and finally selected this one for my needs. Modifications I would recommend: improving top underside grip hold for ramp extension to avoid pinching fingers. Placing the top on the seat/bumper and pulling the extension out (per video) is cumbersome because the side binds midway. Works better to put bottom on ground and pull top outward. Install a push bottom locking mechanism (Gen7 Featherlite) replacing the small stiff plastic locking snap on bottom for easier opening. Reduction of weight by This ramp is well make. Reduction of weight by narrowing track to 15" would help with side entry and less strain on arms and back. I have rotator tears on both arms that were getting worst from lifting my 37 lb dog. Unfortunately this ramp is causing more damage. It does not work well for me but that is a unique situation. Please do give it serious consideration and testing. … more

Perfect for my Great Dane
By LillysMom on Nov 3, 2019
We needed a ramp for our aging Dane to get in and out of the SUV. This ramp is really perfect for her. It is wide enough for her stature and she took to it super quickly. Very pleased. The foot liner does feel a bit rough on my hands, but she does not seem to have any issues with it. Training my younger Dane on it. She still prefers to jump LOL.

Irish Wolfhounds Like this ramp!
By Wolfhound on Nov 12, 2019
Ty, my 5.5 month old IWH is too big to pick up. We looked at a lot of ramps, and this one is the best. Light weight, and sturdy, which we will be needed when my 87 lbs puppy weighs in grown at 190 lbs. Highly recommend the product.

great for my SUV
By betsy on Oct 9, 2019
I have two 80lb labs and this ramp works great off the back of my SUV. Each dog is in a crate and this ramp makes it easier (and safer) for them to get in and out of the vehicle. It's not as heavy as my old bi-fold plastic ramp and when not extended it fits perfectly across the back of the vehicle in front of the crates. That makes it very easy to slide out of the car.

Happily, just as expected
By RoosterB on Nov 3, 2019
This ramp is easy to use, sturdy, and my 12-year-old German Shepherd (75 lbs.) has taken to it smoothly; it means beloved car rides are still a part of her rich life. We are appreciative of prior reviewers who steered us well.

good for truck
By DoggycaretakerPA on Oct 25, 2019
I wanted a step for our older dog to get on the bed, my hubby wanted a ramp. We bought the ramp for his truck, to put our dogs in their kennels, when we travel. I bought the step for our house. Both our functional.

Light and sturdy
By GymDyna on Oct 18, 2019
My older 95-pound dog cannot get into a vehicle without help, and this very lightweight, portable pet ramp is perfect for her. She races up and hops in, and is no longer afraid to get out either. A blessing.

great pet ramp
By pcs004 on Nov 3, 2019
This is a great ramp for our lab to go up and down stairs on our deck. It is made well and can hold his weight (130lbs). It is aluminum and can be adjusted to what you need. Recommended.

Great Product!!
By KODAGSD on Aug 14, 2019
I bought the extra long solvit deluxe telescoping pet ramp for my 5 month old GSD to get in/out of our truck camper (F350 with Artic Fox Camper). The height of our truck camper door opening is approx. 4 feet up. We set the ramp to the step below the door opening. Our GSD easily went up and down the ramp and was perfectly angled, not too steep. The ramp is definitely like sandpaper, but my GSD didn't have any issues of soreness or cuts from the ramp as others had mentioned in other reviews. I highly recommend this for anyone with a truck camper! My GSD loved going in/out of the camper with no issues! I only gave it 4 stars because of the roughness of the ramp. Great product overall!!
