My corgi mix has IVDD and we have a 4 step staircase from the back door to the yard. I chose this ramp because it telescopes to any length in its range and because it was the longest ramp I could find, making the pitch easier on my pup. I put it on one side over the stairs and Maggie took to it right My corgi mix has IVDD and we have a 4 step staircase from the back door to the yard. I chose this ramp because it telescopes to any length in its range and because it was the longest ramp I could find, making the pitch easier on my pup. I put it on one side over the stairs and Maggie took to it right away. I coaxed her with treats the first few times but she quickly preferred the ramp to the steps. I like that I can take it up easiely when I know it's going to snow or when we need the space on the staircase. It's not hard to handle, even for me (little old lady). Maggie has had no problem with traction on the surface, or with paw damage. It's been a great solution... totally happy with this purchase. … more

I followed the instructions and got my dog familiar with the ramp on the flat ground with rewards of treats. She did fine. I put it on my 3 stair entrance to my house (not steep at all). She walked on willingly, her paws slipped sideways, she couldn't get the grip to walk up and fell off sideways. The surface is way too smooth. A big waste of money and no ramp! … more

Thank you a lifesaver
By Phil on Feb 23, 2021
My dobermsm recently got diagnosed with Osteosarcoma(bone cancer) and will have his front leg amputated do I needed a solution to get him in and out of my semi truck. This ramp is awesome. He learned to use it in a few days and its compact enough to store in the compartment under my truck.

Perfect for my arthritic dog
By Dmar on Feb 17, 2021
I had originally bought a cheaper ramp from a different website but it had no traction and simply didn't work. This is perfect. It's very easy to move around and has great traction. I keep it out front so my dog doesn't have to take the steps to the front door then move it to my SUV whenever we have trips to the vet (which is often lately since she's started the twice a week shots for a four weeks to help with the arthritis).

I have a 130 pound (59 kg) Labrador/Newfoundland and this ramp is great. A lightweight but well engineered and solid ramp.

Great ramp for my 150 pound elderly dog with arthritis. Great traction for her paws. Strong ramp that compacts easily. Perfect for my Frontier pickup.

My back says...Thanks Chewy!
By SnackPockets on Feb 6, 2021
The ramp has helped my Ol' Golden gain her independence back! I would recommend the Extra-Large model as it is wider and longer, which means the degree of angle is more manageable for the poochies. These are well built and the anti-slip surface covering is a nice addition! If Remmy could talk, I know that she would say that the ramp is definitely helped "Make America Great Again" for her!

Great solution for large, senior dog.
By Pamela on Jan 28, 2021
We recently rescued a 10 year old German Shepherd who weighs over 100 pounds. Since we own 2 large SUV’s, we needed a solution to get him in and out of the vehicles. We bought a ramp from Weathertech (great quality) but it was narrow and still very steep, due to the length. This one is much longer and wider. Works great. He goes right up and down with no issues. Yes, it is heavier but much more functional for us. The rough surface is not an issue.

The ramp works well for my dog. It's light enough to pick up easily. It's the longest one I could find which was important for a full size truck.

Telescoping Pet Ramp
By Rainman on Jan 25, 2021
It works very well for my Golden Retrievers. The sandpaper like finish on the ramp scratches easily but is still functional. Lightweight and the telescope feature makes for easy storage.
