I thought for sure "telescoping ramp" would be easily portable and compact. However, this ramp is very bulky (even when shrunken down) and heavy. It mentions that it is 18 pounds in the description which is technically manageable (I was very capable of lifting and moving it) but very annoying if you're I thought for sure "telescoping ramp" would be easily portable and compact. While this was not the compact solution I was looking for, I have to commend chewy for always having fantastic customer service that sends return shipping labels promptly and always cares to find a better solution. Just what we needed
By Gina on Jan 13, 2021
Our German Shepherd was having trouble jumping in the truck. This ramp took a little time for him to use but once he wasn’t afraid to try it has been good for him. It works for getting in the back seat or on the back of the truck bed. If you have a really tall truck you might want to get a slightly longer ramp as this one would be pretty steep. Easy to slide to compact and fits between the seats or behind seat to take along for the ride, plus it is very light weight

Happy Ride

Luv it. Would of bought it sooner. A friend recommended and no stress for me nor my pup trying to get him in the car. He loves his car rides.

BIG! For large door openings.

Big and heavy for my F350, 6 pack, back seat entrance and storing area. Wish I would have got the smaller one.

Great ramp
By Sissy on Jan 7, 2021
We bought this for our old Golden. He was slowing down and having a harder time to jump in the vehicle. This ramp was very helpful in getting both our Goldens into the vehicle and it didn't take them long to learn to use it. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the surface of the ramp as it was like sand paper. We'll probably add something to it like some of the other reviewers did. Unfortunately the dog we purchased for recently passed away but we will keep the ramp for future use.

Your pup's personality plays a huge role
By DogMom on Jan 5, 2021
The grip on the ramp is awesome to keep pets from sliding around, but my dog was absolutely terrified of it and it makes a sandpaper rubbing noise as he climbs up, (which his nails scratch, not sure about the longevity of this ramp). The slide function is good, it's lightweight, easy to move around but does take a up a lot of space in the trunk and is spooky to my pup.

Works nicely
By Bernerlover on Jan 3, 2021
Have large Bernese mountain dog who needs knee surgery and can’t do stairs. We got this and use it to get in house from porch and take it with us whenever he comes to get him in/out of Jeep Grand Cherokee. The surface is roughened as they say for nonslip but he still struggled when on an incline so we used Gorilla glue adhesive spray to add a thin outdoor carpeted piece to it and it works great(better grip) and it still folds. Definitely found it worth the money.

Great Ramp
By HuskyMomma on Jan 1, 2021
I needed an extra wide ramp with a longer incline for my arthritic Husky. This ramp works perfectly! Its the first ramp I've used that I didn't have to fight to get him to use. It is a little bulky, but well worth it for the ease of getting him into my SUV.
