Do they make replacement feathers yet?
Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2022
At this time, replacement feathers are available directly through the manufacturer.

How do I change the feathers?
Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2022
Press and hold the on/off button until you hear a total of five beeps, and release. Immediately press and release the button again. This will cause the feather cluster to stay in a fixed position for replacement. Pull the feather cluster firmly, until it pops off the retaining post. It will stretch a bit before it pops off. Take note of the orientation of the plastic clip end. To replace, hold new feather cluster, being careful to orient the plastic clip end as pictured. Line it up with the retaining post, and push until you feel it clip back on. You should be able to gently pull on the feather to confirm it is firmly clipped onto retaining post.

For the peek a bird electronic toy does work automatically or only if the cat touches or walks by it1?
Answer by ChewyApr 29, 2020
This cat toy is automated and motion-activated and features two play modes. In between automatic play sessions, when the toy is resting, the motion sensor on the front of the toy will detect nearby motion, within several feet, and turn on automatically. If no motion is detected, the toy will rest until the next automatic play session or motion is detected again.

Peek a Bird Motion toy

Another toy my cats love. They pick it up by the feathers and carry it, then drop it. CRASH! Heavy heave toy. Make the new one rechargeable and lighter, I'd buy another

loved this toy butt.....

My cat loves this toy but like other reviews within a couple of weeks he destroyed the feathers I’m debating whether or not to buy another one as there are no replacement feathers for this toy! With other toys there are replacement feathers that I have purchased here I am hoping maybe with enough reviews there may be some way chewy could find a way to come up with replacement feathers for this toy so we don’t have to buy a whole new one !

Cat loves it but not very durable

Our cat LOVES this toy! We turn it on every night for her and she immediately runs over when we turn it on. We also love that it cycles on and off for hours of play. However, after having this toy for less than two weeks, our cat had destroyed the feathers that came stock with the toy. We’ve been adding our own feathers since just to keep her occupied, since there aren’t any replacement feathers. Additionally, the motor in the toy seems to be running significantly more slowly now and the feathers don’t go all the way into the toy anymore. We’ve tried changing the batteries several times but it hasn’t made a difference. We wish that this toy was a little more durable and had replacement feathers.

My cat loves this toy

If I pick up anything white, he starts running in front of me, looking at object. Two huge problems, though: he flips it over right away (I'm going to try the solution of gluing to down. Yay for thinking of that!) and he pulls the feathers out too quickly. I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to attach some new feathers or something to the old attachment piece. If I do, I'll share. Chewy could sell a ton of replacement feathers (too me alone!). Fix it Chewy :)

Great toy!

This toy is awesome; especially for the price! I love the 'play all day' motion-detection mode and so does our cat. He was a little nervous about it at first, but quickly decided it was great. Then he was a little too rough (trying to carry it by the feather, knocking it upsidedown), which wasn't ideal but it totally stood up to the roughhousing. Now he's figured out how to play with it without knocking it all over.

Peek-A-Bird cat toy

Arrived un-functional in all but one stage. Too expensive as well and my cat is too smart for this toy and completely bored with it.

Poor Quality

I Would never buy this product again, My cats are 2 years old and the feathers was so cheaply made that it came apart not even 1 hour later. Very disappointed for 30.00.

Hard to get it going

This is a cute idea but you need to be an engineer to get it going. We have yet to get the batteries in it and it is sitting in the box we got it in. Looked like a good idea but I fear our cat may never see it working. SOB!!!!

disapointed

Was expecting the bird would move not just the feather in out the body.
