If I have 2 cats can I buy the bags and add some crystals to make it last longer? They are using a tray every 2 weeks.
Answer by • Oct 20, 2018
The bags are available for purchase on our site. You may be able to reuse the trays, but this is not advised as they also wear down after 30 days (for one cat) and may run the risk of tearing.
These trays are advertised as having a "soothing lavender scent to help control odor". Is this designed for the human's comfort rather than the cat's? It is my understanding that cats absolutely hate plant smells, particularly lavender.
Answer by • Sep 24, 2019
The lavender scent is intended to help control the odor of the litter box and is soothing for you and your pet. Lavender should not be ingested by pets or humans, but the aroma and topical application of lavender is safe, especially if diluted.
I have two cats how often should I replace tray?
Answer by • Jan 21, 2020
One tray lasts 20-30 days before needing to be replaced, for single-cat homes. For a multi-cat home, we recommended replacing the soiled tray every two weeks with a fresh one.
My kitten keeps trying to eat the crystals! Will they hurt her?
Answer by • Sep 09, 2019
Cat litter crystals can be dangerous to your cat's health if ingested. However, eating cat litter may be a sign of pica, a disorder that makes your cat crave non-food substances. We recommend consulting with your Veterinarian.
