The compartment for solids looks very small. How many days of waste does it hold for 2 cats?

The crystals absorb urine on contact, and the rake removes solid waste. If you have one cat a tray will last 20 to 30 days. For two cats, a tray will last 10 to 15 days. For three or more cats, a tray will last 7 to 10 days.
How long will the litter last for urine absorbency with just one cat using the box? I’m trying to determine when to order new litter for my cat’s new box.

A tray filled to the recommended amount will last 1 cat approximately 20 to 30 days.
With the reusable litter tray, where does the waste go and how do you empty it?

There is a waste compartment at the front of the reusable tray as with the disposable tray. It will need to be disposed of when the litter is disposed of.
Do you have to use a new bag of crystals every time you clean/dump a tray?

The pre-potioned bags are designed to fill the entire tray. Once the litter is soiled it's recommended to replace the litter with a new bag.

Smells bad

Doesn’t work as well as the disposable ones and smelled after 2 days. The disposable trays are much easer to keep and don’t smell as bad and I only clean them once a month. I’ve found myself cleaning the reusable trays weekly

better than the cardboard

Way better than the cardboard boxes and cheaper as long as you rotate the litter the pee will not sit in the bottom, the plastic is also easier to clean when changing litter. I change my litter once a month and it doesn’t stink if you maintain it. To help with smell, I clean my waste trap out every three days, it takes 10 seconds. It saves me more time than I would be spending scooping the litter box 1-2x and is way more convenient since it’s in one small area. Maintain it and it will work wonderfully, I have 1 cat. 4/5 stars. Love it!

Worth the money

I love the reusable tray! I have 2 little cats and I clean out the tray weekly. I was nervous from other reviews about staining and smells. But I have found that cleaning and disinfecting the tray properly after emptying it will leave no lingering smells or stains. Way cheaper than buying the other trays.

Worth the money.

I have two PetSafe ScoopFree Cat Litter Boxes and this tray has been a lifesaver. When I clean this out I actually wash it and disinfect and put it back under the litter box. My house never stinks. Make sure you clean it properly and it will work well.

Disgusting mess to change this tray

This was a total waste of 70 bucks! There is absolutely no way to dump the old litter into a garbage bag without getting part of it all over your floor. And I mean crystals and poop end up spilling onto the floor. When you tilt up the tray to dump it in the garbage bag the urine soaked litter sticks to the bottom of the plastic tray. As your tilting to dump you’re trying to navigate the poop that’s at one end of the tray while trying to get the urine soaked litter to dump. After you finally get the litter and the poop in the garbage bag you now have to deal with a layer of urine soaked litter that stuck to the bottom of the tray. And it’s a lot! The only way to get this off is to take it outside and hose all that off. It is a nightmare to change. I wasted 70 bucks as I will not go through this again. DO NOT BUY THIS!

missing piece

The product works really well considering my circumstances. When I got the product I didn’t think I was missing anything until I cleaned it and realized I was missing the scraper magnet thing to hold odor in.
