At this time, replacement ropes are not available for a separate purchase.

Great option for feeding and play

This is the first dog toy that’s made it through two weeks and still going strong! I feed my dog (mixed breed about 40lbs) one meal per day to give him some play and slow down eating. It works great and I get a lot of laughs watching him tip and maneuver it.

Just replace the rope!

I've had one of these for 3 years, it's the most sturdy dog toy I've ever owned. The rope does break, and it does get gross, but all you have to do is buy some rope at a hardware store and you're set for life! Get whatever size rope you want! I only ordered a new one because after 3 years my original is pretty worn. My dog is 60lbs and apparently I ordered a small years ago because the med/large is huge, he can't get his mouth around the end. I'm going to exchange for a small but best food toy ever as long as you get your own rope!

NOT DURABLE!

I’ve purchased TWO of these. The first one cracked and broke in about a month. I bought a second one and it only lasted two weeks. It’s sad because she LOVES this thing but it’s just not durable on hard floors, even if there’s a rug. I’d love to see a remake with a more forgiving drop material. I want another one but cannot justify it considering how easily it breaks.

Rope too fat

Thought this was a great idea for my 5 dogs, but quickly learned that it was very frustrating for them because none of the small treats that I put in by unscrewing the bottom (great feature!) would come out the top. The rope, which also is a good idea, is too wide to allow small treats to pass by the neck of the bottle, so all my dogs gave up on it. I actually cut the rope and took it out and will use without. My toy poodle loved to drag the bottle around by the rope so I am sorry for her that I had to cut the rope off.

My Dog takes it everywhere

My goldendoodle loves it like a playmate. She will take it around with her when empty so it won't be out of her sight. Once she figured out it dispensed treats, it became her #1 toy. When she's bored and we've already had a run that day, she will bring it to me for a refill! She has other toys she likes so not obsessed- just enthusiastic

Tug a jug treat toy

My puppy loves toys . Though she is a little apprehensive because the toy makes a loud noise when food is in it. She's quite a character, she figured out how to get the food out real quick. Though she won't eat it she just makes a mess. To me it was worth the money and the entertainment cuz she's a hoot with this toy.

Doesn't Dispense

I kept seeing this toy on different puppy enrichment blogs and sites, and then a trainer recommended it so I thought I'd give it a try. Should have listened to the comments about it not dispensing treats, because it doesn't. I have a 6 month old shepherd/cattle dog puppy who is very active and as multiple trainers have told me, she is also very smart. She has mastered all of the other food dispensing toys and puzzles I have given her, and thought I'd give this one a try. However, it is near impossible to get the kibble out of this thing. It is tricky for me to fill and empty it, and it has turned into more of an occasional throw toy for her rather than a feeding tool. Overall, she really isn't very interested in it. We will stick to the good old fashioned Kongs!

We love this toy!

I have a super smart and energetic sheltie. He is so good at puzzles that most aren't really a challenge for him. I have been giving him all his meals in this toy now for about 3 years and it is still in great condition (albeit pretty dirty). He is not an aggressive chewer but everything is still in tact and I love it. It really is a challenge and takes a while for the dog to eat, so I give him his food in this before I leave for work and it has really helped alleviate his separation anxiety problems. Definitely recommend it.

Destroyed in 1/2 hour

My 70# Pittie had cracked the bottle after 3 ten minute sessions...shards of plastic. I threw away the bottle and he did play with the ball and rope portion. Could be a lot of fun for dogs who are not powerful chewers/large jaws.

Fairly diverting

This was recommended by a friend. Our 20-month old pup solves dog puzzles so fast and we were looking for something more diverting. This has been fairly good, however, after 2 days he chewed the rope in half so that it either plugged up the hole completely or not at all. We took it out. Sometimes he is successful in getting out treats, other times he gives up after a few tries. The bottle impressed me with its toughness, as did the ball part, but the rope didn't last.
