If the tv is on all day will the noise from tv make it go off? An is there a light or something that tells me it's going off? If it malfunctions An keeps going off I'd wanna know so my dogs aren't constantly hearing it.

This bark control unit has a microphone that detects the frequency of the bark of the average dog. This means that anything within that frequency range does have the potential to activate the product and deliver the correction. There is a red light on the front that will light up when the unit is delivering the correction.
Would this work for my dog who barks in his kennel when I’m gone?

The PetSafe Ultrasonic Indoor Bark Control willl work while you leave your pet at home. When setting up the device, make sure there are no obstacles between the dog and the device. Also, make sure that the speaker is less than 10 feet high and is facing the direction of the barking dog.
Does the tone continue until the barking stops or does it have a set length of time it continues before stopping?

When the microphone picks up the constant bark of the dog, it will emit a 2-second high-pitched ultrasonic tone. While the tone cannot be heard by humans, it should startle the dog. Most dogs will understand very quickly that the Indoor Bark Control is disrupting their urge to bark and will relax and stop barking.
Will this be safe to use around guinea pigs.

The ultrasonic noise may cause inadvertent distress to rabbits and rodent pets, such as guinea pigs and hamsters.

Works better than I thought

I have a darling Corgi that barks at the back door. I wanted to lessen her barking, however, this must really work as it puts her right under the bed! No more barking, just hiding under the bed. Not quite what I had in mind, but definitely works.

Didn’t work for my dog

I thought this was worth a try for my 8yo black lab who has a very stubborn barking problem. She can definitely hear it, but it does nothing to deter her barking. I gave 2 stars because it may work for some dogs but not this one. I’ll probably try to return it.

It works!!

I have to admit, I was very skeptical about this working but it does. My Morkie goes crazy barking and even howling when I leave. My husband works nights so he is trying to sleep when I leave for work. I set this up and left. My husband called later that morning and asked me if I took Ripley to work with me because he did not hear him. The only down side is that it does not have an off/on button so I take the battery out when we are home so not a big deal.

Does not work

I bought this to help with my dogs barking it drives my husband crazy he wants to get rid of her I'm not having that but this disappointed me she barked and barked with this unit.

this gadget works

peace and quiet now exists. It stops them cold from barking and they move on. Good product, reasonably prices and it came fast.Petsafe is a name to trust.

Not worth the money

This product doesn't work at all. Don't waste your time on trying it. My dog practically laughed at it worst thing ever and now trying to return and can't get. A response to do so

I wish it was better

It worked for like two or three days and then my dog started the barking again and much louder.so i dont know if the machine is working or not

Does not work

I bought this for my standard poodle, who barks at night for no reason that we can figure out. This item did not work at all for her, unfortunately. She barked anyway.

Instant bark control

We hate it, but mom and dad love it! It took a few times for us to learn that barking and letting mom and dad know that deer, squirrels, mailman, were outside set off the very silent to the human ear noise. The only thing they noticed is a human sneeze or cough may set it off depending on how close they are to the device. Human rated 5 stars, dog rated 0.
