    Smell and ingredients

By Whiskey on Jan 5, 2021

My dog didn't like the toothpaste at first, but after a couple of times putting it in his mouth, he's getting used to it. I'm not sure if it smells like london broil but he doesn't like the smell so it's sometimes a struggle to get it in his mouth. I opted out of using Nutro basically because of their ingredients and protein percentage, instead choosing Merrick Puppy Food...I might donate the Nutro to my local shelter as it's NOT a bad food, it's just not my first choice for my rescue pup.

    Dogs like it

    By DogMom59 on Oct 16, 2020

I like this product. We’ve been using it for a week and are already starting to see an improvement. The dogs tolerate it well and don’t run away when I bring out their toothbrush.

    Works wonderfully

By Nancy on Nov 27, 2020

This product was recommended by our dogs vet & it is well worth the effort! She doesn't pull away when we apply it and her teeth have less tartar.

    Great canine toothpaste

By jayvee on Aug 24, 2020

Great product; the only canine toothpaste recommended by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. My Chihuahua loves the London Broil flavor, and now looks forward to brushing her teeth! Application is very easy - use of applicator, brush or rubbing on gums in between brushing helps to remove plaque. I highly recommend

    Dog Hated This One

By GoldieMom on Oct 8, 2020

My dog likes to just lick pastes and I am never sure if I have brushed well enough, so I thought this one would be perfect. However, he has an aversion to the smell of this one (maybe its the Calprox?) He will let me brush his teeth with other pastes, but runs when he smells this one.

By Xenanana on Oct 11, 2020

I received a VOHC, Veterinary Oral Health Council, Accepted Products for Dogs list from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. This was the tooth paste recommendation. My dogs LOVE the London Broil flavor and are very to tolerant to of brushing with my finger. .

    It absolutely works!

By pets on Jul 18, 2020

I have a 10 year old corgi/jack russell. For years, my vet kept talking about the amount of calc/plaque that she gets on her teeth, telling me it's common to some dogs. So - it was the full dental with anesthesia. Ugh! I have been using this product for 6 months and it has made an enormous change. Yes - I did have a dental done. BUT - for the first time, the vet said if I keep up the tooth brushing regimen, one will not be needed next year! Goal!!!

    Didn't work

By Carrie on Oct 1, 2020

My dog would not go near it. Apparently the smell or taste didn't agree with her. Wasted money!

    Great toothpaste

By Baileyshuman on Mar 15, 2020

Our dog Bailey had some serious plaque. Putting him under anesthesia was not appealing to me as he suffers from epileptic seizures. I have tried sprays, water additives and many different brands of toothpaste. Petsmile is, by far, the best at removing plaque. I am extremely happy with the results.
