Proper fit of the collar is important: a collar worn for too long or made too tight on a pet's neck may cause skin damage. Avoid leaving collar on dogs for more than 4 hours per day.
Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this Product if your dog is aggressive, or if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior. Aggressive dogs can cause severe injury and even death to their owner and others. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer.
Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet’s neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.
While the Receiver Collar is waterproof, the Remote Transmitter is not and must be kept in a dry place! Water can irreversibly damage the Remote Transmitter!
My PetSpy Premium Dog Training Collar is not working?
Size | Neck Size | Collar Width | Recommended Pet Weight |
---|---|---|---|
One-Size | 8 - 27 inches | 3/4 inch | Over 10 lbs |
Answer: Yes, the Receiver Collar is fully waterproof.
No, the Remote Transmitter must be kept away from water.
You might have to reinforce training with the collar from time to time.
The max amount of time you can deliver the Vibration or Static Shock to you dog continuously is 10 seconds. The remote transmitter will time out and the Vibration or Static Shock button must be released and pressed again.
While it is fine to use the Vibration for up to 10 seconds, it is highly recommended to limit the continuous Static Shock delivery to no more than 3 seconds (the smaller the dog the shorter it should be).
Stop using the product immediately for at least 48 hours. If the condition persists beyond 48 hour please consult your veterinarian.
No, this can result in pulling the contact points to tightly against your dog’s neck. Use a separate collar when needed.
The Collar is not design to be worn continuously. We recommend the collar to be worn only during training sessions or other outdoor activities.
Training sessions should be kept short and positive (10-15 minutes).

I had these shock collars for maybe 2 months before they stopped working all together. After the first month of having them the vibrate would not work and neither would the shock. I would physically put my hand on the prongs and feel nothing even when turned all the way up. Also after the first month I didn’t use them for about a week and they wouldn’t stay charged. They would be fully charged and not work then at about 2 months they stopped working completely. I was definitely disappointed with this product.
Overall works great but I have one that stopped charging…Only had it a few weeks…
Only thing work on it is the vibration. Not the shock waste of money.
Bought this collar (actually have 3) for all of my dogs because they love to bark. It works really well for barking and obedience. Purchasing a 4th one today for new German shepherd puppy. Highly recommend.
Cheap made doesn't won't. Would not recommend. Doesn't perform as stated not sure if defective but would not purchase again.
I am using The BEEP feature ONLY on this device & it is working nicely to get my 2 year old’s attention. I wish the SHOCK feature could be disconnected for safety reasons, as I will never use it. I purchased the unit for the “WATERPROOF” feature, but noticed the “charging port cover” was off when I removed the collar yesterday, so will have to watch that closely. So far - So good!
They do not stay on always shutting off. Can only charge one at a time.
Battery life sucks (doesn't last a full day) And now both collars don't even turn on at all.
Absolute piece of junk. Collars randomly turn off, even when fully charged. As a hardworking person of limited funds, it was a real kick in the wallet to spend so much on a worthless product. If I could give it minus stars, I would do that. Completely worthless product.
I work on a large farm and like the girls to have these collars incase they're ever in an area where they cant hear me. The tone works well for both of them. HOWEVER, the remote doesn't reach the collars well in wooded areas or even around the barn unless I'm standing on the side of the barn the girls are on. Also, the collars need a better mechanism for keeping the buckles secured. Lost one collar on the second day because it came loose in one of the fields while the hound was sniffing about.
