Precautions
It is vitally important that you and your dog remain safe while learning during on-leash training. Your dog should be on a strong leash, long enough for him to attempt to chase an object, but short enough for him not to reach a road or other unsafe area. You must also be physically strong enough to restrain your dog when he tries to chase. Proper fit of the collar is important. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet’s neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.

Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this Product if your dog is aggressive, or if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior. Aggressive dogs can cause severe injury and even death to their owner and others. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer.
Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet’s neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.
- Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day.
- When possible reposition the collar on the pet’s neck every 1 to 2 hours.
- Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual.
- Never connect a lead to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts.
- When using a separate collar for a lead, don’t put pressure on the electronic collar.
- Wash the dog’s neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth.
- If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed.
- If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian.
General Tips
- Eliminate one misbehavior or teach one obedience command at a time. If you move too fast with training, your pet may become confused.
- Be consistent. Correct your pet every time he misbehaves.
- Unless you can supervise him, it is recommended that you restrict your pet from situations in which he has a history of misbehaving. However, setting up a situation as a training session can dramatically improve your chances of success.
- If your pet reacts to the tones by hiding or acting fearful, redirect his attention to a simple and appropriate behavior, such as the “sit” command.
- Pets should be at least 6 months old before using the Training Collar.
- Only let responsible family members use the Training Collar. It is not a toy!
- Other pets in hearing range will be affected by the training tones. Therefore, training sessions should be conducted out of hearing range of other pets.
Troubleshooting
My pet does not respond when I press a button.
- Make sure the Receiver Collar has been turned on.
- If your range has reduced from the first time you used the Remote Training Collar, the battery(s) may be low in either the Remote Transmitter or Receiver Collar.
- Terrain, weather, vegetation, transmission from other radio devices and many other factors can impact the amount of range you have with the unit.
- Test the Receiver Collar. See “How to use the Test Light” for details.
- Increase the Vibration/Shock Level. Refer to “How to find the best Vibration/Shock Level” for more information.
- Make sure the Receiver Collar’s Contact Points are placed snugly against your pet’s skin. Refer to “Collar fitting” for more information.
The Receiver Collar will not turn on.
- Make sure the Receiver Collar has been charged. For the initial charge, be sure to charge it for 4 hours. Subsequent charges only take 2-3 hours. The Receiver Collar is not responding to the Remote Transmitter.
- Verify the Receiver Collar is on.
- If the Indicator Light does not come on when any button is pressed on the Transmitter, ensure that the batteries are fully charged.
- If the first two solutions did not resolve your problem, see “How to pair the Remote Transmitter & the Receiver Collar”.

Once my pet is trained and has been obeying my commands, will he have to continue to wear the Receiver Collar? Probably not. You may need to reinforce training with the Receiver Collar from time to time.
Is the Receiver Collar waterproof? Yes.
Will I get exactly 600 meters of range with the Remote Training Collar? The range of the Remote Training will vary according to terrain, weather, vegetation, as well as transmission from other radio devices. See “To maximize the distance” for tips on maximizing your range.

Great Buy for Eros
By LNBackRanch on Dec 13, 2020
Bought this for our Setter-Lab, Eros. Works great! We can get his attention easily and rarely have to go past "beep". He knows that the "buzz"means he needs to do what he's told and not to make us escalate to the "zap". We've only had to use the "zap" twice, otherwise he's gotten great at coming, sit, stay and "get out of there". We live on a 40 acre ranch and, because of this collar, he has more freedom than ever. We no longer have to tie him up, fence him in or chase him down. Excellent range, holds a good charge, definitely a great purchase! When we pick it up, Eros gets excited to put it on because he knows we're going outside and he can play while we work. I would recommend this for anyone Bought this for our Setter-Lab, Eros. STOPPED WORKING ON DAY 2
By Tank on Dec 31, 2020
I purchased this collar 10 days ago. I fully charged it according to the directions and on day 2 I noticed the shock feature not working. Once that first initial charge ran out, it has not held a full charge. For example, I fully charged it yesterday afternoon. Unplugged it and left it sitting on the counter overnight, as the directions say not to overcharge. When I woke up in the morning it was already completely dead. Do not buy this. This is my 2nd time purchasing an electric collar that doesn’t work.

Great so far!
By Athena on Dec 17, 2020
We've been using this collar for a few days now and thus far it's been great! The remote feels a little light and "cheap" to me personally but it does it's job. The collar itself feels like a really nice quality with a metal buckle and sleek rubber and fits both my dogs (who are very different in size, one is a corgi and the other is a German Shepherd mix. We got it primarily for our Corgi though) and after we were sure we got just the right fit we cut off the remaining "tail" of the collar. It even had grooves to cut along just for that which I though was a nice addition. As far as how well it works, the beeping gets my dog's attention and the vibration works as expected. It even had grooves to cut along just for that which I though was a nice addition. As far as how well it works, the beeping gets my dog's attention and the vibration works as expected. Sometimes if my dog is laying down he blocks the receiver though and we can't hear the beeps. The shock seems a bit strong, even on low levels, but that may just be my dog, every dog is different. Usually my dog works well at a 2, sometimes needing a 3-4 if he's distracted. He kind of winces at a 2 and at a few points he cried at a 4 but after testing it on myself I can say a 4 doesn't really hurt. It's uncomfortable for sure and I wanted it to stop immediately, but that's kind of the point. It definitely didn't make me want to cry or yell or anything though. I have not tested the waterproof abilities yet and don't intend to, but it does give me some peace of mind. After just a few days my dog's "Heel" has gone from "meh" to "WOW" He no longer stops to sniff every other leaf, he stays by my heel instead of lagging behind or going ahead of me and he stops and sits when I stop. He still gets distracted and breaks the heel for people, but we're working on that. He also will "Hush" when told now instead of carrying on barking, which was the biggest reason we got the collar, and it's helped him learn not to break his "Stay" until told. It's also really come in handy for calling him from a distance with the beeps. I do suggest heavily researching E-collar training before you do it though. If done improperly it can make your dog fearful and reactive and you really don't want to just throw one on and start shocking your dog when they don't understand what that means. I suggest YouTube videos, which have helped us a ton! I will update this review over time should anything change, but so far I'm impressed considering this was one of the cheaper collars. We didn't want to go for the cheapest and get a crappy one and we didn't want to spring for an expensive $100+ one just yet without knowing if our dog would do well with e-collar training. This one was just right for testing the waters. … more

What I think
By petrainer998RU on Oct 28, 2020
All I can say so far so good. I'm am a man who dislikes using any kind of shock collar. But after talking to trainers, friends who have a large breed fur baby well it works. I never tell anyone to take a review as a buying tool. I say if you like it buy it because you are the only one that can tell if it's a good fit for you and your fur baby. In our case our 7 month old German Shepherd puppy Max is very high strung. But when we put the collar on his wow what a difference. I bought a cheaper version of a collar all that can be said about that one is not a good choice. I won't bad mouth another competitors products. That's why I don't put their name in here. Not Effective on Dog
By GreatPyreneesMix on Nov 15, 2020
I got this collar for my dog to help tweak some bad habits. After testing this item on myself a couple of times to make sure it worked and wouldn't be too intense (I got to level 4/16, boyfriend 7/16) we both understood how it would feel on the dog. We used it on him and due to his fur thickness, the collar is not effective for him at all, and does not feel it.

Did not work
By Barker on Nov 5, 2020
This did not work on Roscoe, I would say No Bark and shock him when he barked and he would just ignore it and bark again. Just was not the appropriate way to train him. I am sure it works on some animals just not mine.

Great Training Aid

Excellent Training Aid and my Border Collie/Lab Mix responds very well to just the Tone Portion and the Vibrate. The Unit seems to be quality built and the training instructions are spot on.

Works great for 1 year
By Melissa on Aug 12, 2020
Bought this product a year ago and has been working well. Shortly after the 1 year warranty period ended, the remote began to malfunction for no explainable reason (backlight won't turn off, buttons don't work consistently). Uncanny. Per their customer service, the only solution is to purchase a new remote.

Golden retriever
By travis on Nov 3, 2020
Shock does not work on my golden retriever. Even with the collar extremely tight, he does not feel a shock.
