My 7mo Bernese puppy loves this bone! However, it leaves little particles all over the carpet and in his fur which have been getting stuck and leading him to bite and chew his fur. He's obsessed with the bone but we have to restrict him to short chew sessions. The "dogwood" products from this brand are a cleaner alternative that he also loves.
Lexy definitely like this and chewed on it non stop for awhile. However, it did not take her long to have both ends all chewed up and looking like she had it for months.
This chew bone is my beagle's absolute favorite! She loves it. We just have to control where she chews it due to residue left behind. But, it is her definite favorite chew.
I have 5 Goldens and would you believe none are interested in this chicken flavored bone? Strange because 2 of them prefer a chicken-based dog food. This is a first after raising Goldens for 33yrs. They normally will chew on anything new for at least a little while.
This is my 1-year-old Doberman mix's favorite semi-edible chew toy, and I have tried numerous different kinds from Petstages and Nylabone. She's been on her second one for close to 4 months now and it's starting to get down to the nub, so we'll be getting a new one. Get this for a dog who genuinely just enjoys chewing or is prone to shredding/consuming things.
Chew bone is larger than expected. Could have sized down to Medium for my 75# fur baby.
I have two dogs that chewed on this bone for about 20 minutes each. They both ended up throwing up later with little shavings of the bone in it.
This is the only toy that has held up to the jaws of my 10 month old Black German Shepard. And, it will only last about a week and a half. So, I'm going from a medium to the large size and see how that works. At least with this bone Kimba is not gnawing on the furniture.
My Aussiedoodle has severe vomiting and diarrhea after chewing on this bone.
Both my girls LOVED these bones. They have spent countless hours chewing on them. The only downside to these bones is they make quite a mess on carpet as they crumble when chewed on.
