This little chili pepper is our 2 1/2 year old shih tzu’s favorite toy by far. He’s played with it since the day we brought him home at 10 weeks old. It still works and looks great! I recommend it to everyone and have even sent it as a gift to new puppy owners. It doesn’t have a squeaker PTL but rather a firm yet gentle ‘crunch’ sound with a bit of a click. Just like it would sound if you were eating a fresh chili pepper with TMJ, but not in a bad way LOL. It’s not made from indestructible rubber, so if you have an aggressive chewer that likes to destroy toys, this is definitely not for you. However, if your puppy is teething, or just likes to chew and play, I highly recommend you give it a try!
I came home to an excited dog because our chewy package just arrived! We unboxed our toys and Norman was very excited to get something to chew. It’s about 20 minutes later and this toy is in pieces. He had fun destroying the toy and watching me pick up all the pieces, but if you’re looking for something for your dog to come back to time and time again, keep looking and share your recommendations, because this toy is not as tough as described.
We have that carrot, and now I'm purchasing the red pepper. I need one toy for inside, and one for outside. It's one of my dog's favorite toys!
This is a cute toy but its not very tough and my dog had it chewed up in pieces within minutes
This was a super cute toy and I thought that it would be durable since that was in the description. It lasted 2 hours before my dog got the stem out and then destroyed the rest of it.
Aussie/Blue Heeler didn't even have this for 2 mins and in tons of peices.
Listen to all of us, took less than 10 minutes for my pup to destroy this. Just buy Kong brand and be happy.
My tough chewer had this torn apart in five minutes, very disappointed.
I bought this for my heeler puppy. He started eating it the second I gave it to him. It's really soft, so I had to take it away. I'm disappointed because he really loved the crunchy sound the insides made. Might be okay for toy or small breed puppies but not worth it for us.
NO! 100% no! I got 1 for each of my younger than 2 puppies. Within about a minute, I realized they had 1 shredded and I turned around and they were in the process of shredding the other.
