    Much safer than nylon

Lots of pros with this chew toy and we have them all: We have one of these “sticks” in every room of the house and have given them as gifts. I feel much better having my 2 Great Danes (2yrs and 4mo)chew on or ingesting something made of wood versus nylon or rubber. And reality is sometimes they do eat a small piece of chew toys even with the best supervision. They are attracted to wood smell and the pieces do break off easily, but they’re not razor sharp like Nylabones so these don’t hurt my dogs gums. The cons would be that they seem to lose their wood smell after a while (so I replace them or spread a little bit of Kong peanut butter on them) and the small bits that come off (but they don Lots of pros with this chew toy and we have them all: We have one of these “sticks” in every room of the house and have given them as gifts. My dog loves these!

    By on

I struggle to find toys that are soft enough that I don’t have to worry about slab fractures, but hard enough that my pup actually wants to chew them. He’s LOVES this chew! It flakes off on tiny pieces that I can see passing in his stool. At first I got him a small size, but he was able to bite it off in larger chunks instead of flakes. Switching to a medium solved that problem.

    maybe not for me

    By on

So, when the package came, my owner and i were exited to play with this! 2 hours later it was broken into 3 pieces. My owner knows an older dog who isn’t known for snapping things in half like me. He loved it! So it is a good toy, just not for me. Woof

Beagles aren't known for being picky...

But it's hard to find a chew that's more tempting than getting into trouble. This one fills the bill. All three of my beagles love it.

    Ok chew toy

My dog is a heavy chewer. She loves these toys but they deteriorate rather quickly.

    Not a good stick.

Dog ripped apart right away. Could not hold up to his chewing.
