The Petstages Flashing Firefly Mat Cat Toy has 3 LR44 batteries. They are replaceable – there is a plastic housing inside a Velcro pouch at the top of the mat that would have to be unscrewed to replace the batteries.

Not Impressed (Cat) wasn’t either!)

There’s absolutely nothing to this toy & the cat agrees. It’s over priced, flimsy & doesn’t attract the cats attention. The fireflies blink on & off a few times and then it’s done unless you keep nudging it & even then the cats have no interest.

Piece of Junk

Worked for one day and the next day it was broken. Not from my cats because they hardly got comfortable with it in a days time. Just a cheep product Dont bother

Silly cat is confused

I got this to occupy my cat Willow early night and in the morning. She seems to think it's a mat to lay on and mostly ignores the lights. She also thinks her shoestring belongs with the mat.

2 out of 3 think it's ok.

My lazy boy adult didnt even sniff in this direction. My 2 kittens think its ok. Not their favorite, but enjoy chasing 1 or 2 lights when it gets accidently triggered. They will not fully interact with it, its just a passing fancy as they move through the area to attack each other or the hanging mouses that they love so much more.

Flashing mat a hit

It is exactly as described a flat mat that is super sensitive in lighting up when it is touched. It's taken a couple of weeks for the cats to deem it worthy of attention. As soon as it is brushed it starts twinkling and then it is attacked or used as kick toy. Wish other toys were as responsive as this is.

Don't bother buying

My older kitten is about 6lbs. He can walk on this and it doesn't turn on. Only stay lit up for a very short while. Not worth the money

Flashing firefly mat cat toy

Waste of money. Lights don't stay on long enough to get cats interest. I feel it would be better for kittens not full grown cats.

Not a great toy

This mat is very difficult to get to light up. My cat pounced on it several times and NOTHING. No lights came on. I think this is not a very good toy at all.

Nice toy but really for kittens

My cats are bigger. All 3 of my cats have a combining weight of 22 pounds and if only one of them wants to play then it is okay but that rarely happens. They still step on it just to see the lights flicker,
