We have 6 indoor cats. Hard to keep them all occupied, and peak their hunting interest. I bought this thinking it might be a hit for a few minutes and then they won't look back at it. Our big guy normally has no interest in playing with anything that isn't on a wand. He LOVES this box!! Has been playing with it nonstop since I opened it. Only problem is, the balls are a bit too small for the holes. Wouldn't recommend to somebody that has a pet that might eat the balls.

My kitties went crazy over trying to get the balls out... Miss Artie is so tenacious, she even got one ball out, she never gives up. Both my girls go back to this game over and over. Lots of great entertainment. The only down side, the faux grass breaks off. I have to clean the plastic up as Miss Artie wants to eat it. Now that it's broken in, so to speak, not so much grass on the floor
Holes too big and the balls are too small.

My cats loves this toy. Gave it only 3 stars because the holes are too big and the balls are too small. My cats lost the balls within the 1st hour of letting them have the toy. Need to rethink about this toy design or at least have the replacement balls.
A big blah

My cat initially showed some interest in this but the holes to reach in to bat the balls are too small and oddly shaped for her to get her paws in. She’s not a huge cat so it’s clearly a design flaw. She does occasionally lay on top of the toy so there’s that, I guess. Big waste of money,

My cat loves this box! The balls inside make her want to "hunt" them. She scratches the top and loves the catnip. She gets so excited she puts her front leg all the way in up to her shoulder to try to capture her "prey". She also really loves the box and packing material it was delivered in, always playing in them. Sometimes I think she likes the packing material more than the toy!
One of my cats' favorite toys

My 2 indoor kittens love this! The same 3 little balls got boring after awhile, but I started regularly rotating toys of different textures and sizes (fuzzy mice, treats, etc) to keep it interesting and give them a variety.
Won't stay in place

It's smaller than I thought and very lightweight so the cats move it around alot. It's a great idea so I figured out a way to hold it in place so they can play, I just double taped it to a piece of plywood. I also added some extra toys and they love it.
Beware cats swallowing plastic grass
on Sep 20, 2019
This toy turned out to be very badly constructed. Within 5 minutes, my kitten managed to rip strips of plastic grass from the cardboard frame. I rushed to keep him from swallowing and took the plastic from his mouth. On my return to the living room from the kitchen trash, I found he repeated the process. I had to throw away the frame, but my cats continue to chase the little balls around the house.
The biggest fun comes from putting other things in the box!

Seriously my cat was interested with just the balls, but I found the real gold was when I put other things in it. I have a hex bug (which are brilliant and my cat loves them) and I put that thing in this box, and she went nuts. She will sit there watching it until she finds the perfect opportunity to grab it. We also put some spring toys in it, which she loves fishing out, and I also will put this feather on a stick through the side holes and then have it pop put the top holes. Very fun
My cat LOVES this
on Oct 2, 2019
My cat plays with this non-stop. She loves chasing the balls inside. I even add other toys to keep her interested. She loves the grass part. The only downfall is the balls can come out from the sides. I put them back in and she starts to play again. Super fun toy, great price.
