Too Deep

I should have read the reviews on this before purchasing. I tried to use it this morning and exactly what everyone else said happened. It’s too deep for my cats little face to get to the food. Unless you pile it super hit with food she can’t reach any of it. It should get 0 stars. Waste of my money. I have the fish shaped slow feeder that is fine, but wanted to try a different one in a different location in the house. I guess I’ll get another fish shaped one.

Slow Eating Bowls

Our Veterinarian suggested that we look into a food puzzle or slow eating bowl for our cats. One is already diabetic and the other is on the way. At first they wanted nothing to do with the new bowls, but have since mastered the concept and are using them just like their old bowls.

Difficulty for cats to get food unless over filled

Difficult for cats to get food. Purchased with the idea of them not gobbling down the food then throwing it up however it is difficult from them to get the food unless it is over filled.

Slow Feeder for Cats

The plastic material is very hard and pointy on the corners. My kitty hurt her nose trying to get the food out and then tried using her paws but was unsuccessful. It was so frustrating for her. I took it away. I thought it was a soft silicone material, but it is hard plastic.

Horrible

ZERO! Not one. Eat slower? Bah! They can't get to half of the food at all. Trash this product. My cats hate it and so do I.

Slow feeder cat bowl

I bought 2 of these for our 2 fast feeders. They won't eat out of it at all. I tried to see if my other 2 cats would use it, and they wouldn't either. The ridges are too deep for them I think.

Helps the "blurping"

Even after sensitive stomach food, my cat would still blurp up undigested kibble once a week. This has reduced the blurps significantly.

Doesn’t work well with wet cat food

I was excited for this purchase but, it was so tall and stiff my cat couldn’t eat most of the food in there a had to switch it to another bowl. I think it would work perfect for a small dog.

Too Ridged and unusable

We wanted to use this for our overweight cat, he didn’t do well with a ceramic bowl slow feeder because he was knocking his teeth too hard, so I was looking for a softer option. I should have listened to the reviews, this is way too ridged (hard plastic, was hoping for soft silicone) and the ridges are way too high for a cat to get the food out. We donated this as soon as it arrived, unfortunately.

Fine Quality, Meh Usability

The bowl itself is made well and sturdy. But the depth is a little off. The barriers are closer together than I thought they'd be, and doesn't encourage our kitten to eat around them. He just gives up because he can't get his mouth in the dividers. On the bright side, it's easy to flip over. So it kind of slows him down when he has to flip and forage.
