Challenges my girl, she loves it!

By Sarah on Sep 25, 2021

It took ME a minute to figure the game out, but cat, Monky pushed me aside and said she'd show me. I love putting treats only in the green sliders bc she can smell that they are there and she needs to go through extra steps on a few of them to get to the treat. She has it figured out but I think she enjoys feeling like she's hunting. Seems less bored overall and is even a little sweeter now that she has to think and work a bit too get her treats! I use the Doc and Pheobe feeder mice in addition to this and a lick mat for her wet food and she's slowing down and losing a little weight.

    My favorite toy of 2021

By WillowtheTiger on Oct 7, 2021

My mom ordered this toy. I knew right away it was from Chewy ‘cause I sniffed the carton. I loved this toy/puzzle immediately. It took a couple of tries before I mastered it. But, I’ve played with it every day since it arrived—several times a day. This toy is well constructed, fun, and challenging. I give it one meow and five head butts.

awesome puzzle! except now my cat solves it in 2 minutes or less

By lena on Oct 11, 2021

this is a very well-built puzzle from what I can tell. high-quality plastic. the instructions say to use the green cylinders for "more challenge" but.... it was way too easy without using them. Unfortunately i'm in the market for another puzzle because my cat solves this one so fast now!

    Fun and cute puzzle

    By ReadingCat on Jul 22, 2021 top1000Contributor

Love these puzzles for my cat! They are cute, clean well with a wet paper towel and keep my treat loving cat busy. Started with the "rainy day puzzle" but my cat never learned to spin the cloud wheel. She would try to bite it instead. We both like this puzzle the best. I use Temptations treats, they fit well and do not get stuck anywhere.

    My cat loves it!

By Jojo on Apr 8, 2021

My food-motivated cat absolutely loves this toy and is very driven to solve it. It has multiple "levels" that makes it easier or harder depending on where you put the treats and how you put it together. My cat figured it out pretty quickly, I think it's fairly easy, but the multiple ways to use it are a plus. I feel like this will be a great pre-dinner "hunt" to get her ready for her meal. It also feels like an old school wooden children's toy and looks cute sitting around.

    Medium Difficulty

By Malcs on Apr 14, 2021

We didn't need to use the various steps to get our cat to the highest level of play. He figured it out very quickly. That being said, we're looking for ways to slow down his eating and keep him entertained and it does slow him down. He'll play get a reward and walk away. But he'll come back a few minutes later for another one.

My cat is too smart for this toy

By luvcats on Jan 25, 2021

I thought this toy would be challenging for my cat, since he has a more simple puzzle toy which he mastered quickly. However, he figured it out on the second try. It's still a great puzzle and I like that he has to engage in something to get the treat. It's well-made and worth the expense.

    Blind cat could solve it

By Pippa on Feb 1, 2021

My blind cat really enjoys this, but that being said it's an easy puzzle not intermediate. The thing kind of solves itself because the pieces are put together really loosely. It's more that they have to just rattle the thing around so the pieces move than actually solve it. That being said, and I know that sounded negative, she actually really loves it and I think it adds great enrichment to her life. Either way it is still some sort of a challenge. I'd buy it. Or maybe buy the more advanced one.

    Great Beginner Puzzle

By Rachel on Nov 30, 2020

This is a great beginner toy and has different difficulty levels based on how you hide the treat. My cat is too smart for her own good and figured it out in minutes. My two complaints are: 1. The sliders and spinners have very little friction and will move even when he toy is bumped. 2. Thin treats can get stuck easily and claws can too. There are slots in the back for things to fall out, but I still had treats get stuck. I managed to get them out with shaking and a toothpick, but it was annoying. The bottom can come off with screws it looks like, but I didn’t try that. I attached photos with arrows where things get stuck. Overall, decent puzzle ideal for not sharpest tool in the shed.
