It's just ok
Unfortunately, there are not very many chew toys for cats out there. This seems to be the only one my cat likes so I keep buying it. I like the product but the problem is that it doesn't last. My cat will decimate this toy with in hours if I let him. I wish it were more durable for a cat that REALLY loves to chew!
Goes to pieces quickly
My cat didn’t have anything to do with the toy even after cutting out of pretzel shape until I put some lickable treat on it several times. After that he chewed through the mesh till it wasn’t safe. I sewed it up and he still chew it apart. 3 stars bc it probably cleaned his teeth from all the vigorous chewing but expensive for it to fall apart so fast
Maybe Phoenix is too young for catnip.
Phoenix, just under 2 years old, has never been excited by catnip, so this catnip infused “pretzel“ doesn’t interest him at all. He much prefers feather/bird wand toys for us to play together.
We have a Bengal with a ton of energy and is very picky about toys. This is his FAVORITE TOY (and I love that it helps clean his teeth) He has a great time hunting for it, kicking and pawing it around the house. The toy holds up very well (even with his sharp claws). I keep multiples on hand in case it gets lost. Highly recommend.
Not a Favorite
Nice teething toy, well made. That said, our kitten doesn't bite or play with it. She prefers her cardboard scratcher to bite or sit in.
She didn’t like it
Well I thought it was well made and looked like fun, but my cat didn’t enjoy it. Tried to engage her several times, but looks like it’s going in the box of reject toys.
Don’t know yet
Well this is my fault. I was cutting the tag off and accidentally cut the toy so now the stuffing is coming out of it. I have to sew it before he can play with it. That’s why the 3 stars. I don’t know if he likes it.
The Chewy pretzel
I bought several of this type of toy. My 3-year-old ginger has played with them, but the boy I bought them for seems uninterested.
OK in a different shape
I agree with a previous reviewer - this toy is better taken out of its fragile pretzel shape (the threads break easily) and better as a knotted stick. That way, it became the favorite toy of one of my cats.
Such a cute toy
I ordered this along with other toys for my cats. When I offered this and one of the others to them when I opened the package, both cats immediately started playing with them. I hope they're as practical as they are fun, but either way, the cats love them.
