Not the best

The vet machines testing 680 on our dog this one's testing 520 the Lansing thing to prick your dog doesn't even work the instructional DVD did not come with it just overall not happy at all

Lancing Device Doesn't Even Work

The device won't even break skin. I've tried multiple spots on my dog at multiple depths the poor baby. So I don't even know how the device works.

Glucose Monitoring System

Product was as described and easy to setup and use. The only issue I had was the test strips were out of date when we received the package. Not sure if I should keep using them, but i tested them and they are still within specs.

Not accurate

Comparing this to the one my vet uses, it did not give an accurate reading. We compared at the same time, and this one was way off. I wish I could return it.

Worked well at first...

I bought this system based on a lot of reviews, the price, and that I wouldn't have tobuse their testing strips if in a pinch. Worked great the first month. Then, without prompting, it changed the time on the meter. Then it started changing from cat to dog and that messes up the averages. I just bought more strips and lancets, so I will be buying another meter, but after that, I'm moving to a much less expensive human meter and adjust to the new testing range.

Great meter!

When my cat was diagnosed diabetic I had no clue where to start. Luckily I found a site on fakebook and they showed me this meter. This is actually my 2nd meter from this company. As it's cheaper to just but the whole pack vs new test strips and control solution. So now I have a back up. Very good, simple, and comparative to vets meter.

Expect to buy another

When it worked it was great. I bought this in April and in July it died. I changed the batteries and it just wouldn’t come on. This meter should have lasted for years, not months.

Strips shows error most of the times

Nice cheap device but it shows E5 errors most of the time! so each time I test the glucose level of my cat, I have to use more than 1 strip, either error or no detection (for some reason it doesn't detect a drop of blood, so keep poking my cat and the strip doesn't respond till it gets lot of blood)

Useful tool

Works fine in monitoring my baby cat's diabetes. Easy to set up with a little help, simple and so far cat cooperates with me.
