Bought this pillow for our newest kitty. He was having trouble adjusting to his new home. He loves the pillow. I think the heart beat makes him feel safe when we are not home.

As puppies do, mine had accidents and the pillow required washing. After the 3rd wash (warming element and heart beat device removed, of course), the Velcro began separating from the main pillow, and the seams on one of the internal pockets had begun to fray. After the 5th wash, it exploded fluff everywhere in my washing machine. It looks to be repairable, but this is a bit ridiculous for something that claims to be machine washable and dryable. :/

it kind of made him scared of it. maybe the dog plush one is a better option.

I'm disappointed to see the low reviews on this pillow. The heartbeat sound is low but not too low and the heated side is great for cool nights. My puppy snuggles right into it. I'm glad he has the pillow to comfort him and he's more at ease in his crate. The internal seam in my pillow did break in the washing machine, but Chewy replaced it immediately which I am very happy about.

Honestly wishing i could return this item. It made our puppy 100% more irritated and we are unable to use it

This product was a total waste of money. The "heartbeat" would stop after a few minutes and I could not get it to stay on. When I warmed up the heating element it scorched even though I put it in for 1 less minute that was advised and it smelled AWFUL when it heated up. A total waste of money. Next time I go old school with an alarm clock and a heating pad.

I thought this would be a physical beat that moved the pillow. It is only a sound. Personally I would not have purchased if I knew this. You should be more specific in the description as it's a heart beat sound and no vibrations.

Just recently adopted a Pit mix puppy. This pillow has been a lifesaver! It’s nothing fancy, but it does its job. Very easy to get the heating packet in and out along with the heartbeat device. Lucy sleeps with her pillow every night and has really kept her calm and soothed. Would absolutely recommend to anybody who has or will be getting a puppy!

The heartbeat sounds a little weird but when in the pillow it muffles it enough to sound somewhat authentic. The material on the front is nice, the material on the back seems a little “cheap” but that’s not a huge concern since it gets chewed on anyway. The heating pad is a nice touch even though we don’t use it. (My puppy always seems to overheat when sleeping) Overall it helps my puppy relax and is really nice for the price. I’m very happy with this purchase.
