    It's wonderful for my puppy

By MiloD on Oct 10, 2020

I'm disappointed to see the low reviews on this pillow. The heartbeat sound is low but not too low and the heated side is great for cool nights. My puppy snuggles right into it. I'm glad he has the pillow to comfort him and he's more at ease in his crate. The internal seam in my pillow did break I'm disappointed to see the low reviews on this pillow. The internal seam in my pillow did break in the washing machine, but Chewy replaced it immediately which I am very happy about. … more

Did not hold up to washing

By Anna on Oct 13, 2020

As puppies do, mine had accidents and the pillow required washing. After the 3rd wash (warming element and heart beat device removed, of course), the Velcro began separating from the main pillow, and the seams on one of the internal pockets had begun to fray. After the 5th wash, it exploded fluff everywhere As puppies do, mine had accidents and the pillow required washing. It looks to be repairable, but this is a bit ridiculous for something that claims to be machine washable and dryable. :/ … more

    So far, so good!

    By on

I ordered this last week for our new 8 week old puppy. It has helped us establish a nighttime bed routine. I like that it can heat up and the sound of the heartbeat soothes him. I didn't give it five stars because it does seem like it will only last a short time. Pup has dug at it a few times and the corners are already fraying. But, overall, I'd recommend this item.

    Heartbeat pillow

    By on

Love this product idea. I went for this one because it’s the best one I found for the price, size, ability to reuse the microwaveable warmer and the removable heartbeat. The first night with the pillow our 13 week old puppy loved it and kept setting off the heartbeat himself (on purpose) until he fell fast asleep. The following night we weren’t sure if he wanted to take it out to the living room as he didn’t want to be in the crate or if he didn’t want the pillow in the crate (he’s got a huge personality). The only thing is I actually don’t microwave it as long as the box and instructions say because it was so hot it was to hot to handle and to hot in the pillow to put in w him, I stop it 10 Love this product idea. Great for travel with young pups

    By on

I flew out of state to pickup my new puppy and bring her back with me on the plane (she flew with me in the cabin). I knew the travel combined with being taken from her litter mates would make for a stressful experience so we decided to try out this heartbeat pillow. She loved it! While in her carrier she would nuzzle up next to it and fall asleep. We credit it to the pillow because we did not have it with us in the car and she had a hard time sitting in her carrier then. What a great way to comfort small puppies! She still likes to snuggle with it when she is put in her crate at night but we don't turn on the heartbeat sound anymore. My one complaint with it is it is rather large. it took up I flew out of state to pickup my new puppy and bring her back with me on the plane (she flew with me in the cabin). My one complaint with it is it is rather large. it took up a big portion of her airplane carrier. Also I have a 2 year old lab who does not like the heartbeat sound and tried to tear it out of the pillow whenever it is making noise. So take that as you may. Perhaps not all dogs find it comforting. … more

Useful in getting my puppy to sleep

    By on

I would have rated five stars, but it is a little too difficult to remove the heating element and the heart beat simulator. Nevertheless, it is useful in getting my puppy to sleep.

    Not what I needed

    By on

Did not work for my 14 year old Jack Russell. I needed a vibrating heartbeat because he is deaf and blind. Something to sooth him when is alone.

    Great for the price

Worked great soothing our 8 week old puppy. I could definitely see her out her head right on the pillow to hear the heartbeat. I just wish it would stay on all night. Autimaticallt turns off after awhile.

    Helped with New Puppy

    By on

We took the pillow to the breeder on puppy pick-up day and rubbed it over the puppy's mom and litermates to put their scent on it. On the ride home the new 8-week old puppy rode on the floor in front between my feet and we put the pillow there with her. She had her head on it almost constantly. It seemed to help comfort her. Because of where the ON button is placed, the puppy can actually turn it on herself when it stops. She occasionally bumps it just the right way, or rolls it around until it re-starts. She chews on it, but has not done any damage. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the little pocket inside where the heartbeat unit goes ripped and so now the heartbeat unit rolls around We took the pillow to the breeder on puppy pick-up day and rubbed it over the puppy's mom and litermates to put their scent on it.
