  • Dog East Food With Granules Mixed In

    By on

My dog does not like dog treats so will not eat biscuits let alone chewable tablets. This moist joint support granules mixes right in his canned food & he doesn't know he is eating it. I saw a picture of him at the shelter last year the day after my dog died & when I went there I didn't know his shoulder was crippled but I rescued him anyway. The shelter required I have his injury/birth defect xrayed at a vet ($279) to see if surgery, amputation or meds would help him. The vet said meds for now. He very energetic @ 1 3/4 yrs old but runs & stands on 3 legs. Even tho he's still young, the vet said I need to get pain pills for those days the pain may show up. In the meantime I wanted a joint My dog does not like dog treats so will not eat biscuits let alone chewable tablets. In the meantime I wanted a joint supplement in him. He's 13 1/2 lbs. so I only use 1/2 of a small scooper, that comes with the product, once a day. After 4-6 wks. the maintenance dose will be 1/2 scoop every other day so the cost is efficient and the container will last a long time. He was energetic before Phycox so not sure if it's helped him but it gives me peace of mind knowing it may prevent a not so good day for him. I will buy this product again. … more

  • It can be messy but it's fine

    By on

I ordered the wrong thing but this works just fine and my dogs like it. It's messy because there is a plastic bag full of the granules (powder) and the scoops is inside the granules. Or maybe it's just me that always makes the mess! :) It's really ok but I just prefer the chewables which I will order next time.

  • You have to try this!

My pitbull suffers from Cushing disease and his hocks were swollen 5X than normal. One month one this and they are back to normal. He is getting around better and in less pain. Awesome product and cheaper here than other places too.

  • Quality varies

Good product, but there have been some quality issues lately. I called the manufacturer and they have assured me the problems have been resolved. I'm going to try them again - here's hoping the issues have been resolved.

  • Joint supplement that works

    By on

I have an overweight shepherd who was stiff whenever he got up. He was grumpy all the time. He improved with the Phycox, then I added Rimadyl and he is feeling much better and is happy.

  • Phycox Granules Joint Support Dog Supplement

Recommended by a friend. Just started using it and so far no stomach upset or side effects that I can see. I would have a better review if I had been using it longer.

  • Didn't pass the taste test

    By on

We're migrating away from Cosequin/Dosequin after 20 plus years due to diminishing arthritis symptoms control. I bought the Glycox granules as a test, since we had a first time use of regular Glycox soft chews that went very well. I just wanted to see if I could reduce our daily coats by trying the granular form. Our Irish Wolfhounds wouldn't eat their food when the Glycox granules were in it. ...and they never refuse food of any kind. I'll be returning the Glycox granules for an exchange or refund.
