Description

Phycox has developed and carries a quality line of hypoallergenic products for use in cases of canines with food allergies. All of their hypoallergenic products are made with the same ingredients as their other products (including Phycox patented and highly effective anti-inflammatory Phycox) but do not contain the common ingredients that cause allergic reactions in dogs.

Phycox HypoAllergenic (HA) Small Bites Canine Soft Chews are part of Phycox's hypoallergenic range and were designed with smaller dogs in mind. The small size of the Small Bites makes them ideal for small to mid-sized dogs that weigh between 5 and 30 pounds. To make them suitable for dogs with food allergies, Phycox HypoAllergenic Small Bites Canine Soft Chews are formulated with absolutely no mammalian protein or grain. These flavorful chews are therefore guaranteed to not contain beef, chicken or wheat, the most common canine allergens. The rich, natural (and highly appealing) flavor is Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, which is a low molecular weight protein, derived from soybeans. This flavor is hypoallergenic and should not cause problems in dogs with allergies.

My Dog Did Not Like The Taste

    By on

I have a 9-year old small dog that is starting to have some joint issues. My vet suggested that I get a joint supplement. I ordered the Phycox supplement from Chewy.com. I initially tried to feed my dog a whole supplement bite, but she wouldn't eat it. I resorted to cutting the supplement bite into very small pieces and placed it along with her dog food. She ate around these small pieces, so I called Chewy.com com who immediately refunded my money. Excellent customer service!

    Happy Dog Mom!!

My dog has a VERY sensitive digestive system and has to be on a hypoallergenic dog food. Turns out...he's also allergic to shellfish, which i in so many joint supplements for animals and people. These have not upset his stomach and he is moving better too!!!

    My Dogs Love These!

    By on

Two of my dogs have dislocating patellas in their back legs. They are nine year olds, and these help their mobility as they get older. Plus, they love the taste, which makes it easier to give to them.

    Seems to work

We were asked by our vet to use this product on our Jack Russell Terrier when she was very young. She has a congenital deformity in her front legs and has trouble walking when she's tired, or when her legs get cold. She has used Phycox HA for over 5 years now and, while I have no real statistics to prove their worth, she does seem to be holding her own as far as an 11-year-old Jack. Nothing holds her back, including running in the woods, digging holes, chasing squirrels and frisbees, and playing in the snow. I would recommend Phycox HA for anyone who has a pup with arthritis or joint issues. As far as buying this product from Chewy, Oh. My. Since this is the only thing I've ever bought from this website, I can't honestly say that's a norm, but I can say I'll be checking Chewy for their prices before buying anywhere else. … more

Noticeable difference in how my pup feels

    By on

Since I've started giving these to my 9-year-old Yorkie I've noticed he has a bit less trouble getting around. It also seems to have helped with his slipping kneecap, which may just be from him limping less thanks to the joint supplement. My only complaint is that the chews are a bit dry and tough. We have to smoosh them a bit for him to be able to chew them.

Joint Supplement for my Senior Dog

    By on

I've been giving my 12 year old Maltese soft chew joint supplements for over a year now & previously purchased them through my vet. However, the vet no longer sells them. I've been a Chewy customer for a couple of years & thought I'd try these for my dog. (He can only have soft chews because he only has about 4 teeth left). I give him 1/2 a day & he gobbles it right up. And you can't beat Chewy's prices.

    Bad tasting to my dogs!

    By on

My dogs seem to eat any treat I give them, but they spit these out and refuse to eat them. I have tried tricking them and mixing it in their food but they always find it and spit it out.

My dog Sophie has hip problems and she has a lot of sensitivities and I bought her Dasequin with MSM and she had an allergic reaction to it... I was scared to try anything else but her hip just kept getting worse and causing her pain.. I couldn't see my baby in pain but then after about two months of searching I found these!! AMAZING! They work amazing and she barley limps now.. not only do they work on her hip, but she isn't allergic to them!! YAY I'm so happy!
