The balanced blend of natural ingredients in Phycox MAX also helps improve and maintain total body health. Only Phycox contains Phycocyanin, a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant derived from blue-green algae. Phycocyanin is clinically proven to inhibit COX-2, an enzyme that causes inflammation, and is more effective — with fewer side effects — than similar ingredients in other joint supplements. Phycox MAX provides increased Phycocyanin and additional active ingredients to meet the needs of older and severely arthritic dogs. Pet owners and veterinarians alike trust Phycox for quality and effectiveness.

My Larry is a 10yo, 160lb Catahoula Leopard Dog / Treeing Walker Coon Hound mix that LOVES to run. At about 8-9yo, he began limping more and more after running and Phycox was recommended for him. Absolutely life-changing. We give him one daily with bfast. Larry is in great shape, runs like a maniac without any limping or discomfort.
My 14 1/2 yr old labradoodle loves them. He is arthritic and since taking Phycox Max, has made significant improvement. We also give our 8 yr old (5 lb) poodle a half chew daily. His eyes are much clearer and he loves them, too!
Our vet recommended the Phycox Max for our dogo argentino mix after his knee surgery. A couple years later I ended up giving it to a pit we adopted who had begun having skin allergies. The only thing that really cleared it up well was when I started giving him Phycox. Apparently MSM is a good antihistamine.
This product changed my dogs life...she couldn't jump on the bed so my vet recommended this product to take 2 for 30 days and then 1 a day for maintenance and she is a totally different dog. She is back to being able to jump on the bed at bedtime! My only problem with this product is ordering it in the summertime. Chewy really needs to ship refrigerated during summer because my last shipment I came home and opened the container and it looked like a raw batch of brownies. Of course since chewy is so awesome, they replaced the product for free but I was so stressed out in making sure i was home when it arrived so I could put it in the house before it melted. If you could ship with cold packs to the hot climates in summer - it would be awesome!
My little boy is 9 years old and he has been taking these for at least 3 years. He has arthritis in his knees, hips, and spine. He is running around and able to loose weight. He is like a puppy again.
This product is amazing. I have a 12 year old Lab Mix. He was dragging his back leg and was unable to climb steps. He now climbs the 15 steps to the upstairs of our home. He no longer drags his legs on walks. I have tried other supplements with little improvement. Phycox is the best. BTW he loves the taste.
both came down with diarrhea after ingesting a half of one dose each.
We have had multiple Rottweilers and have used Phycox with all of them.
Noticed a difference right away with my old boxer. He also eats it well - very palatable.
This stuff contains grape seed extract, and your dog could have a serious reaction! My dog did after giving it to him on his vets recommendation. Several days later, we had to put him down! Especially if your dog is older, be careful!
