not good wouldn’t recommend
By Cristian on Sep 25, 2021
Have had this for like half a year now or so and over time the rocks just degrade in the water and is a algae magnet. I only have my tank light for 5 hours a day and no windows directly shining on it. Writing this review now since it started happening 2 days ago

Awesome customer service, mixed rocks.
By Callie on Jul 14, 2021
I originally ordered 2 bags of these rocks. 1 bag came with two large rocks that werent seiryu, they looked like plain grey granite chunks. The bag was also cut open. The other bag was a good mix of seiryu stones of all sizes but also had a few random granite stones. I called chewy about the bag first bag and they sent me a new bag with no charge right away. Props to them for good customer service. The new bag I got had a few medium sized seiryu stones and another random granite stone. I have no problem with chewy, but whoever their supplier is for this rock seems to be mixing in cheaper stone with the nicer stone. So expect a mixture. I would definitely recommend buying two bags so you have I originally ordered 2 bags of these rocks. 1 bag came with two large rocks that werent seiryu, they looked like plain grey granite chunks. This route is still cheaper even with a few filler stones. … more

not as presented online
By annabel on Jul 19, 2021
My understanding was that I would get 1 large rock and several others. The picture lured me to think I would get rocks of various sizes and shapes. That was what I expected. Instead I received 2 huge rocks (each ~9 inches and about the same shape) and 2 pebbles (which I do not consider "several others of various shapes as pictured"). I cannot use 2 rocks of such a huge size in my aquarium. I will not buy from this company again.

Would not buy these... keep looking
By Kevin on Sep 8, 2021
Good thing these are out of stock, DO NOT WASTE your money. Bought a few bags thinking it would be half decent, they will give you a boulder that weighs 12-15lbs and 1-2 extra small white-ish seiryu.

Wasn't worth it
By Sonofanarky on Jul 24, 2021
I ordered 2 bags, both had several 2-3 inch seiryu and 1 large heavy rock that obviously wasn't the same. 1 bag was ripped open and it also had a couple hand sized nonseiryu with the large obvious rocks.

Poor distribution of sizes: Not usable for Malawi cichlid tank
By HCCL on Jun 3, 2021
The 17 lbs of rocks consist of one giant rock that weighs 15 lbs and small bits of rocks of ~2 inch dimensions making up the remainder of rocks. So they're essentially useless for stacking for mbuna cichlids.

do not buy if you’re going for an iwagumi
By Wayne on Jul 14, 2021
It comes with one giant rock and a lot a smaller rocks. I bought this in hopes to design a iwagumi with it and I’m disappointed.

Before you buy
By Sean on Jun 24, 2021
Before you buy this product know that you’ll likely get one large, heavy rock and a few smaller ones. If you can buy rocks from your LFS you’re better off.

Not a bad purchase.
By ReefChick on Mar 12, 2021
I was kinda freaking out because of some of the negative reviews on this company, but overall I had a pretty good experience. This is about 40 to 45 pounds of stone in my 55 gallon. I had to order 3 bags for the look I was going for.
