    Best gravel so far

    By on

Bought 3 bags for a 60 gallon tank. This gravel looks fantastic in the tank. You do need to rinse several times and my rinse job was not the best but my canisters cleaned up the rest. Will have to see how well it does when I do the maintenance. Will definitely buy this gravel again if I need to. Beautiful stones!

    Perfect aquarium substrate!

I've never cared for gravel because of how much debris falls between it, but sand is always pain to prep and keep clean. This small gravel is perfectly graded so there are no large or small bits, it is absolutely all the same size, no sand or chips at the bottom like other brands. It's heavy enough to easily gravel vac, but small enough that food doesn't fall between the pieces. The color is stunning and depending on the lighting it varies from green and white, to grey and white. It did need a good rinsing before use, but it was all a fine grey dust that resolved after a few pour-offs. Tank water went a little white for about an hour but the filter cleared it without a problem. Best of all, it does seem to be all natural and uncoated. Really impressed by this gravel and am tempted to change out a few more tanks to it. Only needed a single bag for the 29 gallon, and decided to use it in a 5.5 as well. … more

    Cat litter

    By on

I got this in hopes to use as a washable cat litter. And it works perfectly. To the cats it feels and looks like a regular cat litter. They was using it that night. The only thing that sucks is it still gets tracked around the house like normal litter.

    Absolutely Beautiful~!

    By on

This gravel is very beautiful with its variegated colors of white with a little of pale greys and light pastels. It is a small grain gravel, but not sand. It does take quite a few rinses to get it dust free, but it is so worth it!

Pretty. What I was looking for.

    By on

It's pretty gravel, although more white in it than the silver. Please note that these are tiny pieces. Much smaller than regular aquarium gravel.
