Best Ball Ever
These balls are the absolute best! I originally got a planet dog ball over 20 years ago and it is still intact! It is gone through two dogs and is now on its third dog. I have since bought two more, a small one and a medium size one. I absolutely love these balls. They are indestructible, bouncy and my dog loves them! You can fill them with treats but I never have. We just play fetch with them or Butter throws them around up in the air herself and plays with it. You definitely cannot go wrong if you get some of these balls.
Planet dog ball
I have a Boston Terrier who is 13 months old. She is a BIG CHEWER!! The first day she had this ball, she got her teeth into one of the grooves where the raised green part is. She was able to peel it off. I never let the dogs play new with toys without watching first. I am thankful that I do. She could have choked on it. If you have a very active chewer, I do not recommend this product. For any other type dog it would be fine.
Not Chew-Proof
My 7 month old Mini (20 lb) Labradoodle removed most of the continents off the ball within a few minutes. I pulled the rest off with my old, arthritic fingers (so they do come off easily!). So, watch for that. Otherwise, the ball itself is pretty durable & my guy loves it almost as much as his giggle ball (almost).
Tough! Yes!
I bought these for my pet-sitting pets. A bit smaller than I thought but great for a mini Aussie, or Westie. The Mal likes the slightly bigger ones. Very nice quality.
awesome ball
Orbee balls are the only balls one of my dogs will chase. I don't know if its the texture or taste or the whistling sound they make when you throw them...but she can't get enough of them. I just keep buying them so theres one in every corner of the yard!
Exchange an incorrect size
Chewy is a very easy company to work with! It was seamless for me to get the correct size for my dog when I ordered a size that was too small.
not really glow in dark
My dog really enjoys the ball. It bounces quite nicely and in different directions to keep him happy. I paid almost $20 for the ball because I was hoping to be able to see it. If it is extremely dark then it gives off a small glow. I'm not sending it back because my dog looks forward to evening when he can play with it. I read the information and there was no time amount for sun. Although I now have it in the kitchen window getting full sun during the day and ceiling light at night. It is better than the black ball.
Great for giants!
Both our English Mastiff and our Bouvier love it! Just the right size, and they love mouthing the texture. Thanks, Planet Dog!
Planet Dog Orbee Ball
My Dachshund adores these balls,they are his favorite! He knew when the Cheey box arrived- What was in it- He literally tore the box apart to get to the contents! If he could order these balls via Alexa himself,HE WOULD!
Not so Tuff
Unfortunately, this ball did not work for us. I've had Planet Dog balls (even this same Orbee-Tuff model) before that have stood up to my dog's incessant fetch habits, but this one was torn apart after one session where I actively did not let my dog chew on it. Bummed since I've had good experiences with them in the past from different sellers.
