Save your money
Save your money and get the orbee basketball instead, which is made better and is twice the size. This ball is about the size of a small grapefruit. The ball is poorly manufactured and the material is not consistent. The ball should be smooth and shiny throughout, but it’s not. There is an area on the ball where the material changes in quality and looks like it has a small gouge. I thought it was a defect, but after getting a second ball, I found that it was just poor manufacturing. The ball also barely glows at all in the dark. The only thing that is printed on the ball is the name Luna, which rubs off almost immediately. The basketball which is about the size of a cantaloupe seems much stronger and better manufactured. The attached pictures were of the second ball right out of the box. Also, whose bright idea is it to attach the tags using those plastic Doohickey‘s on the inside of the ball that require pliers to reach inside to pull them out? My dog was so excited to get the toy, but he had to wait until I could pull those stupid plastic tags out from inside the ball reaching into the treat hole with pliers.
Durable, floats, bounces
This is a favorite. We have a few of this brand, and this was an instant hit. Durable, floats and bounces high. I have an aggressive chewer and this toy has already put in some time, and minus the word wearing off, it looks brand new.
My 85 lb yellow Lab LOVES these! I wish they'd stop attaching them to the packaging with those stupid plastic ties which are always put through the seams creating two weak spots in the ball before it's been played with, much less pulling them through from the inside so she doesn't choke. Perhaps it could be attached by tying it to packaging using the holes already in the ball? But what Zoe wants, Zoe gets.
Or bee-Tuff spot dog toy
My German Shepherds like playing with this ball. The one Shepherd really likes to exercise her jaw on it. I have not used treats in it since they like it just the way it is. The ball is holding up well so far.
Ozzie loves this ball. I can stuff a treat inside and keep him occupied during his quieter moments, or hurl it down the hill and have him galloping back and forth for hours. It is tough enough that the Chewinator has not managed to tear it apart. Four paws up.
My dogs Love these balls!!
I have been buying these balls for about 6 years now. They do not wear down teeth, the Luna glows in the dark so you can have some fun in the winter darkness and they are virtually indestructible! I have bought them as gifts for friends dogs and recommend the to people that have dogs as well. I still have the first one and it is still going strong. We have German shepherds and they are tough on them. They wash up easily in hot or cold water and do not hold the taste of soap. Chewy's prices are better than stores and other on line sites.
Idk what it is about this ball but my dog loves it
My pup wont stop playing with this ball she loves it. I gave 4 stars though because after a few minutes the word luna wiped right off. I bought the ball cause my dogs name is luna, and I thought it was cute, but other than that she really enjoys playing with it.
Longest Lasting Ball
I have a Pitty who chews through EVERY toy she’s gotten. She absolutely LOVED this ball. She could squish it in her mouth..which kept her busy. It lasted a week-which is the longest out of any toy she’s gotten-minus her Kong Ball. What I loved about this ball was she ran around the house, and wouldn’t put it down. Her Kong Ball she’ll only play with if someone throws it for her. Yup, a bit pricey for one week..but it was one week of sanity for me, so I’ll take it!
Overpriced and overrated
Overpriced and overratedMy dog already has a ball I put his kibble in.I thought this toilet would be good but the whole is too large and whatever you put in it falls out so now I will have to buy some larger bon toilet would be good but the whole is too large and whatever you put in it falls out so now I will have to buy some bones.
Decent product but a little too large.
We ordered the Luna ball for our husky that loves to chew. It is a well made product and the material seemed tough enough but the size was a bit too big for our dog's mouth, so he ended up not being interested in it at all. If it were more tennis ball size, I think it would have worked fine. Chewy customer service was excellent and refunded our money. We donated the ball to our local shelter.
