    This is great

    By on

I have one that likes to inhale her food and try to inhale everyone else’s. This slowed her down a bit so the other one can get some of her food in her stomach.

    Consider Before Buying

    By on

The rubber ring on the bowl did not fit properly and fell right off. The stand itself is a nice height, but of very average quality. My larger dog with a long snout could not get the food out of the slow-feed bowl, but it works great for my dog with a shorter snout. The bowls are very lightweight and of average quality. Overall, this is definitely not my favorite purchase.

    She loves it!!!

And so do I. It's very stable and looks nice. It is just tall enough for my dog height. She's happy and so am I.

Perfect size for my hungry black lab

    By on

I recently purchased this bowl for my 50lb black lab. She is a fast eater who has been using a slow feeder puzzle bowl for two years. As she has grown, she needed a taller bowl. I purchased the large and it is the perfect height for her. This bowl still slows her down so she doesn't finish before my other dog and eat his food.

Not good for snub nose breeds

    By on

It was very difficult for my English bulldog to eat out of the bowl. The center part was to large. I like the design though bowl, but not not a good choice for my dog.

    That's silly!

    By on

I think these bowls are a good height...but are very light weight and for some reason, the non-skid rubber ring is on TOP of the bowls and the entire thing slides all over the kitchen!!! I had to put a towel under the holder to keep it in place. Otherwise, I like it.

    Slow down metal bowl

    By on

Like this bowl for my Alaskan Malamute puppy. It is not as stable as I'd hoped, I had to clamp it to the crate so he couldn't turn it over but at least he can't chew up the metal bowl.

    Not a slow dog bowl

    By on

First off, the rubber around the bowl top is stretched and keeps falling off the bowl, second- my dog ate the food in under 60 seconds! Was not helpful in slowing down your dog or from gulping. Height was good. So now I use my puzzle bowl (old bowl) on top of this one. Bowl is thin also. Wouldn’t recommend.

    Wonderful Dish

    By on

This dish and stand is wonderful for those dogs who gulp their food. They have to take their time and breathe while the eat. This stops the choking during eating.

    Has Slowed Him Down Some

    By on Top 100 Contributor

This is the first slow feeder that is elevated that I have found. The design is great but my dog is a giant breed and I need the bowl to be higher. I'm designing a platform to place the stand on & then it will be the right height. It is doing the job as I can actually hear Sherman chew now.
