With a soft texture and formula that supports digestion, Plato Real Strips Turkey & Pumpkin Dog Treats are a paw-sitive grain-free addition to your dog’s diet. The treats contain no fillers, by-products or poultry meal, and they’re made with real meat so you know just what you’re feeding to your dog. Turkey and pumpkin are the first and second ingredients. While these treats are easy to chew as-is, they’re also soft enough to be broken down into smaller pieces for training or portion control, making them a paw-some and versatile treat to have around.

My Malamute, who has never been of questionable state of mind, or faltered in her senses for any reason, has morphed into an insane asylum with a tail after eating these treats. She loses all ladylike decorum and societal propriety when she hears and sees this particular treat bag. With saucer wolf eyes she comes at me needing her fix. Afterward, she’s a frenzy of wanting “just one more”. I am left in bafflement, no longer recognizing my sweet, goodest girl. It is only once her high has worn off that my love regains her composure, leaving the frenzied addict for the next time. I’m afraid to not buy these over and over again, lest her darker self overtake me in the night.

My dog has at least 50 severe allergies, including food allergies, his medications give him an upset stomach, these treats are the only thing that helps his tummy. We keep several bags on hand at all times & do not go anywhere without them. Also he is on a very restricted diet & is extremely limited on what he can eat, because of the limited ingredients & healthy ingredients, he can have these. He loves them! If you're looking for a good healthy treat, I recommend this!

I was shopping for soft/chewy treats that my dog wouldn't be allergic to. These met the ingredient requirements, but I overlooked the fact that they are crunchy treats. I assumed from the description of "real strips" it would be something different. The dogs seem to like them, just not what I was looking for. Not a good training treat.

A Favorite Treat!

Plato's Turkey with Pumpkin (and Turkey with Sweet Potato) is of our dog's favorite treats. It's the one she'll eat even when her tummy is feeling not quite right, and even when she refuses most everything else.

My german shepherd has perianal fistula which means I have to be completely selective of what he eats. Unfortunately my husky golden retriever has to suffer with the selection. Both of my dogs knock me over as soon as they hear the bag open. I will be buying these going forward!
treats for treats

I purchased these because they were soft treats and that's what I use to train my dogs. Because the treats go in my pocket I really like it when they don't crumble. These are larger than I would use as a training treat and do crumble when you break them. They are soft enough that you can break them into pieces. But I don't want crumbs in my pocket so these are reserved for manicure day. LOL
THEY ARE GOOD TREATS

These are everything we should be looking for in a treat for our dogs; great ingredients, produced by a compassionate company, and dogs love them! But be careful when you see great sales. I just took advantage of an almost half off sale, but at least the first bag is really dry and stale. That's probably the reason for the markdown. Fortunately my dogs still love them.

My dog LOVES this treat. I guess I should have stocked up on this item.
Our std. poo votes for this every time.

For training purposes, we need the best smelling, most appealing treat out there. I have tried multiple treats and he literally spits out the other ones, all of them. If I don't have the turkey/pumpkin treats, he'll go without! They're easy to use; I cut them into narrow strips and break in half, new ones each day. Any crumbs go in his dish. And, the treats are healthy, don't upset his stomach.
