  • Flavorful, But Really Crumbly

    By on

My dog loves the taste of these treats, but they're super crumbly! A few of the pieces are a centimenter long, but the majority of them are way smaller. I've taken to referring to them as "duckie bits" and "duck dust" (with either name, my dog comes running since he loves these so much). There wasn't anything heavy in the delivery box with them, so I imagine they're in Chewy's warehouse like this. Luckily my dog is small (15 lbs), so he's okay with getting crumbles for treats. But if he was bigger, I feel I'd have to give him a whole handful of treat dust for him to taste it.

  • Groomers comment on duck

    By on

My small dogs loved the duck treats and I was using them every day for awhile. I noticed their coats looking stringy and needing a bath more than usual. I asked my groomer about it and she suggested that the duck treats caused it in some dogs. I've changed treats and their coats look better.

  • Great for training!

I like how although these are crunchy, they can be broken into smaller pieces for training. Our Labrador loves everything we've tried by Plato. I would recommend.

  • My Picky Dog Loves These!

    By on

My doodle loves these treats! He is normally picky about treats but he will sit and do tricks for these! I love the small size, and they are great to put in your pocket to have while walking your dog, or for training purposes. I appreciate the limited protein ingredients since my dog has food allergies to chicken, which makes it challenging to find treats he can tolerate and actually enjoys. Score here! I’m so happy I found these at Chewy!

  • Dog catnip

Our dog is finicky about his food and treats and he goes bonkers over these duck treats. Only problem is the fall apart too easily so if you carry them in your pockets be careful because they will crumble on you. I would have thought that a product that is so expensive, the manufactures could make the product stay together and not fall apart. I gave this a 5 because our dog loves them but they are messy and you lose, at least in our experience 25% due to it falling apart. Finally I just put the crumbles in with his food so none of this will be wasted since it's so expensive.

  • Favorite treat

Our 3# chihuahua loves this treat! She is 13 and only has 4 teeth but this treat gives her some resistance but she can chew it. It breaks in half easily since she really can’t do even small bites!

  • Crumbles too much

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My dogs love these, but since they are so tiny, there are a ton of these that are just crumbs on the bottom of the bag, which is such a waste..

  • Wish they were bigger, less crumbly

    By on

My dogs love the duck "sticks" Plato makes. I usually break them into tinier pieces and give as multiple treats. So, I was hoping I was buying a bag of already broken up sticks, but it was a bag of some small pieces, but a lot of crumbs and particles. Due to that, they don't make great training treats - dogs will just continue to lick the crumbs from the floor as you take a treat out of your pocket or pouch to give them and not get back to the task at hand until all is clean. From now on, I am just going to get the sticks and break them up.
