Good & Bad
This rope floss was good for one day.. the moment my 13 year old Chug pulled it out of the box. I had been working on brushing her teeth, but didn't have much success until she started chewing on this. I think the combo of my brushing, and this dental toy, really did a great job, because the plaque finally came off! But she stopped chewing it after breaking the squeaker, and now it just sits. Kind of an expensive toy to have to rebuy frequently.
Don’t waste your money
My dog destroyed this in less than an hour. I thought this toy would just be a rope, but there is plastic inside that she started pulling out almost immediately. Not sure how this could be described as “dental” as it seems it couldn’t handle almost any amount of chewing. Lots of parts she could choke on and will be going straight into the trash.
Not for Chewers
My dogs love Playology- and I love that we don’t have to replace them often. I was excited for the Purple one and didn’t zoom in to see this was a senior line from Playology. Opened it 12 hours ago… one squeaky is out and started on the second. Will go back to the others.
Not for aggressive chewing dogs
I usually order the ropes from Playology without the squeeker or crunchy aspect to them. They are more durable for my dog and his chewing prowess. This one lasted just an hour before it came apart. But Playology is still my go to for toys for my dog.
Daisy Mae Approved
Ordered for my senior beagle Sydney Grace. Daisy Mae, 6 yrs old immediately stole it and absolutely loves it. Going to have to order another one now. Sydney has been chewing on it also and she usually ignores toys.
Not for power chewers
My Aussie Shepherd got this for Christmas and it did last a good solid 3 weeks. However, unlike most of the Playology line, this started fraying and I had to throw it out. Really nice though, not slimy or stinky so maybe lesser aggressive chewers can enjoy it.
Pretty good
It shreds pretty easy but our puppy is teething and loves to chew on this. We have found several baby teeth near this toy since we got it.
Didn’t last 20 minutes
I was hoping this would be the toy that would last but he had it in shreds within 20 minutes.
