Fun toy for small dogs
I was looking for a small ball for Wrigley. I went to several stores, including pet stores. All I could find is balls that he quickly could get part of the outer layer off and chew. Bad news!The scented Squeaky ball is the perfect size, although the scent is rubber, not any meat.Non the less Wrigley loves his ball and loves playing fetch with it. We are all happy !
Toy shopper
My 65 pound dog LOVES these balls, but it takes her less than 20 minutes to get the insert out. Once it’s out, she will chew and toss the ball for a little while, but quickly loses interest. I wish they could correct this issue because this is the only ball she will play with.
Not for Heavy chewers
My German Shepard had this ball less than 24 hrs before he popped the squeaking insert out. i keep forgetting that this is that ball that does this. He's lost 2 in the pond that sank because of this flaw.
not as good as buying them from a store
My dog Blu typically loves these balls. The red ones are his favorite so we got the red ones. When we received them in the mail he was so excited. But then I went to bounce the 3 balls to him right after removing them from their package. It was disappointing because these 3 don’t bounce like the ones I’ve bought from the store and they’re the same price at the store. They only bounce a foot or two off the ground. Disappointing because he really loves these balls typically and we usually really like the product. Before this, it’s been the best ball we’ve found for him. Trust me, we’ve tried a lot of different balls for him. Lol. If it wasn’t for them not bouncing then I would’ve given 5 stars.
Best Ball EVAH!
I have a 20lb, 2 1/2 yr old female boston/pit/terrier mix. SHE DESTROYS EVERTHING...in seconds to minutes. Stuffys, plastic, rubber, kongs, tennis balls..you name it...in minutes to hours she has dissected the inside, found the squeaker and removed the pin and/or shredded into an unrecognizable toy. Honestly, sometimes I have no idea "what" it ever was! I then get this look from her of pure joy - SHE WON! I didn't realize I had purchased this ball...maybe it was a gift. She found at bottom of the toy box...as there is not much left! She had been playing, chewing, attacking this thing for days. I assumed she had already conquered putting a hole in it and went to throw it away today. LOW AND BEHOLD it is ENTIRELY INTACT. There are some teeth marks but no holes..I'm SHOCKED. I had to look up the brand to find out where it came from because I want more of these. Highly recommend for the most destructive of dogs!!!
This toy is lots of fun!
My daughter’s dog absolutely loves this meat scented ball. It is her constant companion! Could not find in stores. Arrived quickly.
Design flaw an issue for longevity
Probably great for smaller dogs or lesser chewers. This $15 ball lasted about 2 days before the rubber plug (which you can see at the top of the ball on picture 5 of the item page) caved into the ball itself. Ball no longer squeaks and is no longer a toy of interest despite its nice PB smell.
Not usual quality
I was extremely disappointed with this ball. The squeaker didn't last 10 minutes. He did continue to play with it but less than 5 minutes later he had the squeaker part broken and pushed into the ball. I had to take it away from him. I have other Playology toys and they have held up well. (One I have had for over a year and it still squeaks and he loves it.) However, I do not recommend this particular squeaky chew ball toy.
truly indestructible!
A few months ago we adopted a then-fourteen month old GSD-Cattle Dog mix who has turned out to be an incredibly strong chewer . . . fortunately, she only chews doggie items (toys, chew sticks, etc), but she will destroy a toy within hours or finish off a chew item in minutes. This ball is the ONLY thing she has yet to destroy. Although I do limit her time with it, she chews on it for about an hour every day while I play ball with my other puppy (she refuses to play ball, just wants to chew). As of this writing, we have had two of these balls for close to a month and I remain very impressed with the ball's durability. It also bounces well, too, which entertains the younger pup!
The only ball worth buying
This is the only ball my 2 dogs look for. They love them. I have 10 of them in my house and they always play with them. My 2 year old keeps 2 in his mouth all the time. The fact that these balls have a scent, helps my senior dog, who is losing her sight, find it. , She loves to play with them. Hands down their favorite toy.
