Phenomenal dog door

After WASTING money on a flap door, I swallowed hard and spent the money on this door and it is literally worth every single penny. It can not only withstand my lab blazing through it at 4000 mph daily, but my enormous Tibetan mastiff/st Bernard mix who is afraid of everything fits right through it with ease. It operates smoothly and is EXTREMELY sturdy. And it keeps the wind out, unlike the flap doors. It also cleans up nicely unlike the plastic flaps. It also locks if you get nervous about that stuff. It also comes with a metal cover if you're going to have extra terrible weather or need extra security. I cannot say enough good things. It truly is worth the money. I know it's a lot, but this is one of those purchases that will make your and your dog's life better and you'll wish you did it years ago.

Big enough, but lots of installation

There are very limited options in this size. The door is nice. Installation is what I should have expected, but did not think about it when purchasing. You will need to trim out the inside of wall and seal the outside. So additional cost was about $100. The doors swing back tight closed which is good but is taking a lot of coercing to get my dog to PUSH through it. The panels have to be in the perfect place for it to lock. Over all we are satisfied with it.
