Will this fit a 25 lb French Bulldog? The Large size description says up to 45 lbs, but it it looks small....

This bed measures 37 inches X 37 inches X 24 inches and is appropriate for pets up to 50 pounds.
To determine is this appropriate for your pet, measure your pet lengthwise, widthwise and height wise to determine if this will work for your pet. It should work if your pet is within those dimensions.
Does the hood stand upright by itself, is there a stiffening material that keeps it upright? I have another cave bed but my dog lays on top because it lays flat.

The innovative igloo-like design provides maximum comfort and support. If you feel your bed has not risen to the right size, wash the inner pillows in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. After the wash, the inner pillow should expand to the fullest size.
