Small picky dog approved!

These Clam Chowda sticks are a hit with our picky little shih tzus! They're just the right amount of crunchy without being too hard. I can easily break them into treat-sized pieces, or use the larger size in our Kongs. Obviously they're not unscented, but they're less stinky than you'd think.

All Polkadog treats are the best. Clean, simple ingredients - good for the pup. And she LOVES them. I was hesitant about these at first but she cannot get enough of them.

These are a hit with my dog and my cats. Easy to break into smaller pieces and feed accordingly. The fact that clams are a sustainable resource scores with me, although, I suspect, with the kids it’s all about taste.

Unfortunately my dog was not interested in these at all. The product I received looks nothing like what’s in the photo though. The actual sticks are yellow in color (and not the silver like the product photo) and more like a dried cracker (too much potato flour and brown rice??)

My one dog who goes crazy for any fish flavored treat does not care for them. My beagle on the other hand is head over heels for them! They are a great occasionally snack but definitely not for training as they are big and when you try to break them apart they crumble.

We're big fans of Polkadog (support small business!), and the Clam Chowda sticks didn't disappoint. Our dog loves the Henny Pennies, which are the same shape, and she seems to like these just as much. They're a nice choice if you're looking for minimal ingredients and something a little different. They're not super smelly, either, for being made of clams.

My dog was not a fan, upon further inspection most of this bag was made up of brown rice. The treats started to fall apart into, yup, just rice.

As a very picky Chow, I can say these sticks are delish!! Crunchy enough to be fun but crispy enough to not hurt my teeth. Smells & tastes just like my Gammie's homemade chowdah. I love them, Alannah Rose the Chowess
