how long is the perch

If my cage is 17" wide, which size should I get? Medium or Large?

The Medium is 15 inches long and is suitable for Senegals, Small Cockatoos, Lories, and Pionus. The Large is 18 inches long and is suitable for Congo Greys, Amazons, Eclectus, and Small Cockatoos. Attach securely between cage bars above existing perch; perch should be mounted at a 45 degree angle in a rectangular cage. Use one washer inside the cage, with the other washer and wing nut on the outside. If a plate is provided, loosen wing nut, then slip plate and wing nut through the cage bars and rotate plat 90 degrees, then tighten wing nut.
Is the medium sized good for a cockatiel bird

What material is this perch made out of? Wood?

The perch is made of a custom blend of cement which is non-toxic and designed just for birds.

Best perch so far!

I hesitated buying this because it’s pricey, but it is by far the best perch I’ve found for my rose breasted cockatoo. Her cage isn’t strong enough to hold regular perch without drooping over time and this corner perch doesn’t do that at all! Plus, it gives her extra room than a traditional perch! Great purchase!!

loved it but it came cracked

The size, clamps, and grain is great on it! However, it came with 4 cracks that went all the way around. It is very thick and sturdy so I’m assuming it cracked during shipping. It’s very heavy so make sure you have a sturdy place to clamp it to. Had it not been for the cracks, I would have definitely gave it a 5 star.
