This cake mix and icing was horrible. It was so dry the dogs were choking on it and the icing disappeared. I waited til completely cooled down and put the icing on the cake came back in an hour and it was all melted and barely on cake. DEFINITELY not enough icing to make the 2 tier cake on the box
Easy to make and bake. I made 9 cupcakes with the mix. It smelled really strong of peanut butter. I made the icing and added peanut butter drizzle and a small dog treat on top. My 3 dogs loved these. Something fun todo for a b-day or gotcha day!
I made this for my dog Lola’s bday and she absolutely loved it!
Once refrigerated, as instructed on the box, the cake becomes the texture of a cake pop (wet and dense). This cake became compacted in my poor pups throat and I had to do the Heimlich maneuver to save her. Please be so careful.
This mix was a big hit with Kramer's birthday party guests! We made them into pupcakes. They all gobbled them up and wanted more.
Made these for 2 of my dogs and one of them almost ended up at the vet. She got very lethargic and wasn’t acting like her self after eating a cupcake. I assume she had a severe stomach ache because she was walking with her back arched and would barely move. Kind of scary. My other dog was fine but I didn’t feel comfortable feeding her more since it made my other sick. Plus the cupcakes got VERY moldy after a day.
I just wish it came with more icing as that was hard to spread, used 2 boxes to make a cute cake. Just wish my pup wasn't scared of the candle
Our little Poodle loved this Birthday cake mix and he's very picky and his brother loved it also. We had just lost our Carin Terrier of 17 years when we had his 15 Birthday party so it was a happy event to see them enjoy this little cake. Very easy to make also! We added more water to icing to make it spread better! Will buy again! 🐶🐩🐩🎊🎊🎉🎉🧁🧁
Oreo always loves his Chewy birthdays. He eats every bit.
I made these for my fur baby's 1st birthday! They came out super cute! I even added pet safe food dye to the frosting and added her favorite treats on top, but she just didn't like it. I made some pup safe ice cream, which she absolutely loved, but the cupcake... not so much. She's never had peanut butter, so that could be why. They were super quick and easy to make, but my baby doesn't like them. I'm going to gift the rest to a friend who has two of her siblings, so hopefully his pups like them better than mine!
