Myself and a few friends found out our dogs share a birthday, so obviously we decided they should have a cake. Mix was great and fast to use and bake. Frosting wasn't quite enough to cover it, but dogs don't really need frosting anyway. I garnished it with treats I had at home to make it look extra cute. All the dogs ate their slices in seconds, even the ones that aren't often food motivated. Would recommend for anyone wanting to have a fun laugh with their dog(s) in a safe way.
Perfect for a pupper party!

Easy to make with simple ingredients, fun to serve for my Ruby's gotcha day, which she celebrated with her doggie brother and cousins. The box shows a double layer cake but for that you'd really have to do just a cupcake or 1 slice. I like that it's not huge, there was a lot leftover even with 4 dogs. There wasn't much icing but it worked ok and the dogs certainly didn't complain! Even though it doesn't look like what's on the box, I was very happy with it and I will buy it again for my other dog's birthday.
Dogs loved them

I bought this mix for my goldens 10th birthday and she loved it! I have two dogs and they both wanted more. I made cupcakes instead of cake and it made 8 regular sized ones. I did add a few extra drops of water to the frosting to make it a little more runny. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the cupcake liners stuck to the actual cupcake when I went to pull it off for my dogs. (Not that they cared). I would buy again and highly recommend!

I ordered this cake mix early. I started reading the reviews and decided to make it a couple of days early in case it didn't turn out well and I would have time to make a different cake. I used a loaf pan and cut out a template for a bone shape. I added some peanut butter and honey to the icing to make it thicker and go further. My dogs LOVE the pieces I cut from the cake and the icing I scraped from the bowl. Also, a big shout out to Chewy for the birthday card they sent Roman for his 1st birthday!!

Made this cake for my pets collective birthday party and it was a huge hit! Very easy to make with just a few ingredients. Added peanut butter to the icing to make it go further. Was able to cut into twelve pieces. Both pups took a whole piece in their mouth and gobbled it up, then froze the rest for future enjoyment. Would highly recommend for any pet parties!
Fun for the dogs to try

I did mini cupcakes for my pawty and they were cute, although they came out dry and have little flavor. The frosting is definitely not frosting like the picture. It’s more like icing or glaze, and it’s a small amount. Either way it was fun for the dogs to try!
My dog wasn't a fan of this cake

The directions do not say if you grease the pan or not. I did and it worked out well. I love the concept, but he only ate a few bites of the cake. He did not like it at all. The cake came out good and looked cute. I added peanut butter to the frosting too.
My Yorkie LOVED this for her 15th birthday

I usually make pup cakes from scratch but saw this mix and gave it a go. Talk about a time saver! My girl loved it! It made 3 - 4" cakes but I just used two for the iced birthday cake because the amount of icing is scant, just enough for a two tier tiny cake. She would've eaten the whole thing but I saved the rest of the cake and the un-iced layer and she is still enjoying leftover cake 4 days post b-day!!!!

We wanted something special to celebrate our fur baby’s first birthday so we purchased this. I was a little skeptical, but so glad we got it! The “pup-cake” turned out amazing...they smelled really good too while they were baking. He ate his cupcake and his sisters in two swift bites. Our baby definitely loved them! Such a good, special treat for him on his special day!

This pouch cake mix is so easy to make and my dogs love it. It says it make 10 cupcakes but they will only be half a cupcake. It made 5 full size cupcakes for my German shepherds. The price is great too.
