Disappointed especially for the price Same as last ordered bought four only ONE has good marrow. Dogs wont touch the others
I bought one and it was great and lasted a long time with my border collie. That’s why it has two stars. The second one I bought was very dry and splintered off into sharp splinters right away (less then 5 minutes). I really hope my dog didn’t swallow too much and I found it on time. They were really sharp and seemed dangerous. I am supper bummed.
Our dog loves antlers. All kinds. So I was very disappointed that she doesn’t have much interest in the 2 split elk antlers I bought. She works on getting the marrow off, but then leaves the outer part of the antler. I’ve bought her whole ones before that she’ll work on for days! Who knows why they do what they do, but unless she starts showing interest in the harder part of the antler I won’t buy these again. Too expensive to throw away the biggest part of the treat.
My golden retriever is not an aggressive chewer, but he does chew. Within a few weeks, this has splintered, I had to throw it out. Do not leave your dog alone with this.
I thought this would last longer than it did. Our 12 yr old Golden ate it in a day. I also was afraid he would choke on large bits he chewed off. For $17 I was disappointed. The $7 deer bone from the grocery store lasted way longer.
I have a medium size Pitt bull mix and these split antlers splintered bad. I have always ordered the whole elk antler, I guess I will continue to order the whole ones
My newest rescue is a chewer so I was looking for something she would enjoy that was natural or safe. So far, she has enjoyed chewing on the marrow and this has lasted longer than I thought. They are pricey but they are good quality,.
My dog loves to chew antlers, she really enjoys them. The price is too high though, hard to justify $30 for a chew.
My dog loves this chew toy so far! He spends a lot of time on it especially when he is bored at times and he has had it for 3 weeks so far as I think that it’ll last him for a long while!
Our dog loves these, however, this particular antler broke off at one end, leaving a choke-worthy bit on the floor (~1"). Thankfully, I saw it and you can see the photo. We're all fans of these antlers- just never had a piece break off like this before... only after a day. so be safe!
