Not 5 Inches
Not a bad little bed for the girls but this is not 5 inches thick. If you stack them both up it could be but individually they are maybe 2. They are also of a material the girls don't really like. Had to put a towel on top so they would use them.
Don't Purchase for Chew Resistance
I was really excited about this bed/large pillow for my 1 year old pup's crate. It fit in the crate perfectly. However, it lasted 2 days, and he was easily able to chew it to shreds. Do not purchase for the "chew-resistant" claim like I did.
Not chew proof
I have a 6 month old golden puppy that has chewed two other dog beds. I bought this bed due to being chew resistant. My dog was able to chew a hole in it. Bed not made for dogs that like to chew.
my animals try to claim ownership
from my dogs to my cats - this pillow is the prime seating in my house. the blind dog this was bought for now fights for rights to this bed, while 2 of my cats attempt to do the curl stretch curl battle tactics to make it seem as if there is no more room on said pillow. As the human, i personally enjoy being able to toss the sucker into the washer and clean it - vs hosing something down and scrubbing it manually to clean it. AND!!! it doesn't lose it's shape in the washer or dryer
Not chew-proof
Less than a month and my dog chewed a hole in it within 10 minutes.
No good not worth it
My dog chewed it to pieces in one hour after I received it and put it kennel. Chew resistant I think not.
stands up to tough chewers
My darling dachshund (Jaws of Death Boy) manages to create holes in everything - he delights in tearing apart and ripping - you get it. However, he has not been able to put holes in this bed, and we've owned it for months.
Not what I expected
Not what I expected at all. Material is rough/hard to the touch and my cats aren't fond of the noise it makes when they walk on it. I was hoping it was soft but definitely NOT. I'll probably give this to someone with dogs.
Poor Excuse for a bed
This bed is terrible! We ordered it because our dog is getting older and has kidney issues where he leaks at night. We tried diapers and such but he kept getting them off so we thought a waterproof bed would help. THIS BED IS NOT WATERPROOF!!! Liquid goes through all the way to the floor around the stitching. We had to throw it away. WASTE OF MONEY!
Very chewable
As soon as I put this bed down, my puppy climbed right on it. Unfortunately he was able to chew the piping around the edge and it is all frayed in about 1 minute. So much for chew resistant.
