Description

Prevue Pet Products Rabbit Hutch provides your rabbit with a safe and secure place they’ll be happy to call home. Made from fine weather-resistant fir tree lumber and coated with protective, non-toxic stain, this hutch also features a weather-resistant roof that’s composed of asphalt shingles and specifically designed to protect your fuzzy-friend from poor weather. The open floor plan allows your bunny to hop between a private nesting box area with removable interior divider walls, a fold-down entry ramp and a foot-friendly open area for play and resting. Plus, the lid latch and double door locks on the front wire cage door and ramp ensure your furball is safe, secure and comfortable at all times.

Key Benefits
  • Asphalt shingle top is water-resistant and protects your bunny from rain and other inclement weather.
  • Bottom debris tray is easily removed separately from the foot-friendly floor grille for easy cleaning.
  • Interior panels can be removed for a roomier living space and easier access for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Entry ramp can be left down so your bunny can enjoy coming and going as he pleases, or locked in place for security.
  • The door on the cage mesh is offset to allow room for attaching a water bottle for easy access to refreshments.

    Good product for the price.

    By on

Good product for the price. I was surprised about how well this was built for the price and I was happy that it was for indoor or outdoor. It was light weight but sturdy. I built it for the neighbor. It was one of the few that had Hey grate above the cleaning pan. That way the critter does not sit in their own excrement if they do not get to the litter pan. Plus you can leave the rabbit in the pen while you clean the tray.

    Didn’t last a month

    By on

We bought this hutch for indoor use less than 30 days ago- the bunny has already chewed the small cedar support that holds up the wire floor and the cage is not easy to clean. The drawer to clean the tray is not easy to remove or put back in place and the cedar cracks easily. If you’re thinking about litter training your bunny I’d choose something else- will already need to be replaced

    Looks cute but just “ok”

    By on

I love the look of this hutch, but a few things are disappointing. It came damaged. The inside of the roof is peeling, and some of the exterior is banged up/chipped off. The wooden rails that support the floor grate aren’t big enough, so the floor falls down. I’ll have to add wider wood before we get the bunny. Also, the roof latch doesn’t even come close to latching.

    Nice hutch

Originally bought 3 hutches for our rabbits to live in outside almost two years ago. I like that there is wire inside to keep them up off of the removable tray. The little closed in space is nice. I put linoleum squares on the wood to keep it cleaner. They go together very easy and hold up in the weather. They are easy to keep clean. They can get kind of warm/stuffy in the sun. Depending on where your bunny goes potty, sometimes the urine runs down the leg of the hutch to the ground. The reason I just purchased another one is one of my bunnies likes to chew the wood. She chewed holes inside, and even a big hole through the slats on the side of the hutch. I had to staple wire over the Originally bought 3 hutches for our rabbits to live in outside almost two years ago. I like that there is wire inside to keep them up off of the removable tray. I had to staple wire over the hole so she couldn't get out. :) Not the fault of this hutch...totally a bunny personality thing. Another bunny hasn't chewed a single thing and his hutch still looks practically new. If you have a chewy, bored bunny, make sure they have other things to chew on and toys to play with. :) … more

    Absolute junk

    By on

Screws strip out of the wood, way too soft. Our rabbits pee just soaks right into the wood, should have been lined or safely treated, the tray should be completely plastic covered. It's just junk.

    Plenty of space for bun

    By on

Bought the large size and it has plenty of room for our 5 lb rabbit. The instructions were easy to follow and the hutch went together easily. My only problem with the hutch and the reason I’m not rating better is that the wire floor doesn’t have an edge support on one side so the wire sinks and bows and often falls off the existing supports on the sides because of the bending and bowing. I will eventually have to screw in a few pieces of wood to create a permanent support (support that really ought to have been there to begin with), but it’s really a lot more hassle than I’d hoped for.

    Happy Bunny

My pet Satin Mini is very satisfied with her new home. We've had to make an adjustment to the grate, however, to ensure her safety and comfort. The openings in the grate that's included with the hutch are much too wide to accommodate her small paws, so we've had to layer it with the grate from her old hutch. It's not ideal, but it works. Also, I find that the tray is very shallow making removal difficult without scraping everything out in the process. Except for those two things I mentioned, I'm happy with the quality of the construction, and the ease of putting it together, so I still gave it 4 stars. We use it indoors exclusively, so I'm not sure how it would hold up if exposed to outdoor weather My pet Satin Mini is very satisfied with her new home. Waste of money

    By on

Cheaply made. Bunny went to the bathroom on the wooden part and it soaked through the wood, all the way down one of legs. The smell is permanently in the wood now. Going in the trash. Huge waste of $120.
