Overall a great cage
Overall I am really happy with this cage. We got it for three rats and they have plenty of room to run around and climb, and the wire spacing is small so there's no risk of them trying to get through and getting stuck. It was easy to put together, my husband and I did it in about half an hour, everything fit together well. One person could do it alone. There are two sets of double doors so it's pretty easy to clean without having to take all the levels out, though they come out easily if you need to. It's nice and sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. I took off a star for the metal grate at the bottom. It's advertised as being for rats (among other animals) but metal grates can hurt their feet. You can't just leave the grate out as that would leave an open space between the plastic bottom tray and the cage. We ended up using bolt cutters to trim the grate part off of the frame, and use the frame to block the space between the plastic tray and cage.
Great for ratties!
My daughter and I each got one for our ratties and we love it! The doors are nice and wide for easy access, and there is a lot of room for toys and such. It took me about 2 hours to put together, but I was able to do it by myself. My only critique would be I wish there was a way to hang stuff from the shelves. I love the wheels, because it is really big, so I can wheel it outside to clean it. My boys love it, as there is so much room to tussle and wrestle each other!
Rats in the Belfry!
Cage works great and was fairly easy to assemble. The two rats who live in it are so much happier with that much more room than their old cage. They love sleeping in the "hammock" together and I'm very happy with those aspects. The additional space, however, has led to some cleaning challenges on the plastic surfaces of the cage. This is the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review.
Pretty Good
This cage has a lot of things about it that are great. It is very large and has a lot of space. This is amazing quality for the price. It was super easy to put together, I was able to put it together by myself. It feels very sturdy and escape proof. I love how large the doors are. It will make it easy to clean and reorganize. I love that the bottom storage shelf pulls out for easy access. The only down side to this cage is the bottom. It is not flat/smooth. It is made out of the same wires as the rest of the cage. The wires can damage small pet feet. I now have to find a way to make the bottom suitable for my rats. Other then that I am very pleased with this cage.
It's only so-so
Bought this cage for my rats at work. It was kind of difficult to assemble. One piece was missing so the rolling caster on the bottom doesn't stay put. (Need to call about the part.) Definitely required two people to assemble. Once assembled I realized I can't remove the wire flooring on the bottom (rats shouldn't be on wire floors) without making it so the rats can escape. Honestly I wish I had just bought the Critter Nation cage like my daughter has. Way more suitable for rats. But I guess my engineer husband will have to fix it. Don't recommend this cage for rats because of the flooring issue. But it's assembled so now I'm stuck with it.
Worth every penny
This cage is fantastic. As soon as I opened the box I knew. It was fairly easy to assemble. The shelves gave me a test of patience. The metal bars need to be flush to bottom so the plastic covers can go on. The ferrets love the space ! I love the portability and the ease of cleaning with tray pullout. Definitely recommend this !!!
Worth the money if better quality.
I purchased this cage for my 2 pet rats, I love the concept of how to put it together but it was hard to put together because a lot of the metal sides were warped and you have to slide them into a straight piece which made it pretty complicated. When I was assembling the bottom part of the cage the wholes didn’t line up so I had to zip tie it together, there is another screw on that side so it isn’t the worst thing ever but with it being where a slide out shelf is located I am worried it will become a problem in the future. After putting it all together it does seem pretty sturdy, the wires are super thin and can easily be bent so if you have a strong little friend living in the cage they will probably bend the bars. If your willing to spend this much money on a cage I would make sure you know it is a good quality brand.
great cage
this cage is amazing! it’s a great size and my chinchilla loves it. it’s kinda hard to put together but it’s really great once you do just time consuming. it’s really wide too and very tall. love it though!
Great Cage
This cage is large and a great value. Pretty easy to put together, I did it myself. Holds up very well and the sugar gliders love how spacious it is.

The cage is great but when I got my tray for the bottom the lip was busted. So the tray falls out if it has too much weight on it.
