How many nuggets are in the 5.5 oz and 14oz bags?

There are typically 3-4 freeze-dried nuggets per ounce, so on average there will be: 5.5 oz bag = approximately 16-22 nuggets per bag 14 oz bag = approximately 42-56 nuggets per bag Keep in mind that they sell by package weight, not by nuggets. Due to variations in protein density and product shape, there may be differences in actual nugget count from bag to bag.
Is heating the moisented nuggets in microwave (30-40 secs) recommended ?

It is not recommended to microwave raw food and treats, as the cooking process can destroy many important nutrients.
My dog loves primal food. I’ve noticed that some flavors are harder to crumble than others. This might not seem like a big deal, but I have significant arthritis in my hands, so I’d really like to find/stick to the flavor that is easier to break apart. What would you remcommend?

It's A Winner!

I was looking for duck hearts, and Customer Service found, and recommended this product to me, instead. My 14 year-old shih-tzu, Sophie, and 11 year-old Lhasa apso/Maltese-mix, Max, 100% love these duck formula nuggets; they literally never rejected this meal, and I always feed the nuggets to them dry after breaking them apart with my hands. I usually fed my dogs an average of one nugget daily, as a special treat, because I'm on a strict financial budget, and had to be careful not to spoil them too much, because they might not eat their food, if they know they're getting these, instead, at some point in the day. My only complaint is how expensive they are, but it's obvious I'm paying for quality ingredients; otherwise, my dogs would probably reject them.

My dogs love Primal

They love the duck, chicken and beef flavors. The nuggets are extremely fresh when delivered from chewy as compared to purchased from local stores as well.

Amazing service!

Chewy has amazing service! I get my order in a day or two and I can count on it to arrive exactly when I need it. The products are fresh and consistent. I never have to worry about running out. My dog is allergic to some flavors and I have to get her flavor on time. They're great!

Primal Duck

Beware of what you are getting. Primal is changing their ingredients in In their freeze dried dog food . The last bag I received does not match the picture of ingredients on the Chewy’s website.The duck primal which sells for over $40 a bag no longer has duck hearts, duck necks and very little if any duck meat. The only duck meat they have is with ground bone. The biscuits are harder then they use to be. My dog used to love this but now won’t eat it.

Changed ingredients

Just canceled my auto ship. Ingredients changed and now less duck and more bone and vegetables. Duck hearts and necks no longer listed in first ingredients. This is too expensive for them to start cheaping out. Bye bye.

Tasty, healthy!

My dog loves all the Primal products, freeze dried and frozen. They provide very natural, healthy, raw food. I’m committed to giving her the best I can and this is it for me. The vitamins are naturally sourced and I feel that is a real plus. I see a lot of positives in feeding raw. Better coat, cleaner teeth and better digestion. In speaking with our dog trainer/breeder, he could see the benefits for himself with his own dogs. And I love that Chewy carries this product and can deliver quickly.

Yummy according to Mya

We have gone through many dog Foods for my picky little sensitive tummy Doxie Mya. Someone told me about this food so I bought a small bag and she absolutely loves it. Amazing!
